I’m giving five stars because my salad wasn’t right and the manager went out her way to make sure it was corrected. She also used it as a teaching moment for her staff. Everybody deserves grace at some point.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich 30 minutes ahead of time and showed up 10m after the appointed time, but the young lady there still hadn't started on it yet. There was nobody in the store so I think she just wasn't paying attention. :/ Food was solid but for people on timetables that is a critical misstep.

Management needs to focus on training, customer service and making this place a better atmosphere. I’ve been to two other locations and it’s a HUGE difference.
The two girls gave the impression that they just woke up and did not want to be there, moving slow and just no organization. One girl was wearing a head scarf that she more than likely went to sleep in and had on a cropped jacket that showed her mid section. Other locations were vibrant, upbeat and employees wore uniforms with an apron. Not sure if these are individually franchised but if it is, your employees are a reflection of you as the owner. Training is def needed so these employees can flourish.
Lighter note, the food was good. I got a classic ham sandwich and chicken salad sandwich.

BAD HAM SLICES. Do not buy ham slices here. I was going to make a quiche-not now. I got home, opened the package and the ham had a sulphur smell and it was slightly slimy. I called the store and the manager was very rude. She was raising her voice and says, “well bye” as she hung up the phone. I I don’t even care about the return - I am more concerned about food safety at this point. They waited too long to turn these into sellable ham slices. The ham from which they were cut was probably past its date. You can’t wait until the ham itself is almost spoiled to sell ham slices. PEOPLE WANT FRESH HAM SLICES, NOT SPOILED. I called Honey Baked Ham’s corporate office to complain about their food safety practices.
2 things.
1. I was on my way into the store to buy a sandwich and my phone rang. Rather than disturbing the other customers, I opted to take my call outside in front of the store. In the middle of my conversation, an employee from the store came outside and said I could not stand in front of their store talking on the phone and made me leave. After my call I left notifying them that any plans to buy something from them was over. In addition, every holiday I spend hundreds of dollars at that store which will be NO MORE.
2. My debit card was charged twice at this location for items I did not purchase from that store or any Honey bake Ham store. My bank cancelled my card and returned the fund.

Came in for the ham and wow! The energy from the employee was amazing, and the customer service was exceptional. The ham itself was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. Definitely coming back!

I stopped in with some friends at the honeybaked ham store in Bowie this past Saturday. They had A special – buy one hambone get one free!! Perfect! It was a nice atmosphere and very clean. Makayla was kind and welcoming, So we decided to stay and eat lunch! It was delicious. Makayla is outstanding in customer service and her sandwich making skills!
The food is always good, and the people who work here always have a smile and good energy about them. I pick up lunch here at least 2 or 3 times a month and have never been disappointed. Good food made by good people. What more could you ask for? 5 stars

I went into the store to get some answers on a fraudulent charge and spoke to a manager regarding the information that was relayed from from the credit card company. She was unprofessional and said that my issue was above her pay grade and gave me corporate’s number. She told her staff any credit card disputes give them the corporate’s number in front of me. So, I called corporate to find some relief and file a complaint against the manager called me and tried to deny it was her and then when I said it was her she got unprofessional and hung the phone up on me. If you have any issues don't speak with the management because it will be fruitless. Needless to say, I won't be back.
Visited this location & I was very pleased with customer service by employee Ash. She had so much patience when it came to me ordering for my daughter & I. & to top it off our sandwiches were delicious made fresh.
