Pretty good food. I came right when they opened at noon. The server was polite and friendly. Food was hot and seasoned well, for my taste.

I visited Friday past. I took over a hour for me to receive my bag. Over 30 minutes for my drink. When I questioned what was taking so long the young lady started eye rolling instantly became irritated. The sad part she was the manager. I will NEVER! Visit this place again based off of the service I received. That young black lady was so rude it was ridiculous.

The bartender had an awful attitude and flat out told our party she was tired of making our group lemon drops. Maybe hire a counterpart to work on a Friday night with you. Staff in general were not that friendly.

I lived in MD for 25 years but I never not once went to a seafood restaurant 😯🤫. When I moved to another state, that's when I started going. Whenever I tell people that I've never been to a seafood restaurant in MD, they think I'm crazy.
Fast forward to my birthday back in October. I came home to celebrate with my MD family and decided to finally go to a seafood restaurant. After reading many reviews, I settled on "The Twisted Crab" in Bowie. Five of us were able to go. The atmosphere was nice and my waiter, Mario, was super friendly, helpful, polite. He provided great service. Thanks, Mario...you're appreciated!
As for my very first seafood meal experience in MD?! Well, it wasn't good at all. It felt like I was chewing on sand. Not sure if my bash was not properly washed. It was very annoying...I never had that happened before. I did ask my waiter if anyone else ever complained about the same issue, of course, he said no. However, one of my cousins said she was having the same problem. At that point I was glad I was not alone. It was so bad I couldn't finish my broil bag. Very disappointing!
Music was popping. Lol I loved the hyped birthday song. The cheesecake with the candle. It is definitely a cheap brand, nonetheless, it's the thought that counts...thank you for mine...
Now that I'm back in MD for a few days, I am looking to go to another seafood restaurant. I need to have a much better experience.

Mika (the store Manager) saved the day!… Candidly, our first visit did not start off that great. Once we arrived and were seated, it took a while for us to be acknowledged or for anyone to at least get our drink orders. Because it’s the holiday season, I figured the long wait was due to possible short staffing. Yet, after watching two other tables, who were seated well after our group, be quickly acknowledged by two separate servers while we remain overlooked, we decided to leave. But, just before walking out of the door however, I requested to speak with the manager. I explained what happened, Mika apologized, and quickly offered to serve our table herself. On top of all of her other duties, she personally committed to ensuring we had a great experience. Her meal recommendations were so great that we ended up ordering more than we intended. Mika seemed to genuinely want to turn things around. Her kindness made us stay….Her leadership made us want to come back again… Mika, thanks again for saving the day!

Kid-friendliness: They have fun table top activities and space for kids to color/draw.

Arrived yesterday around 7:30 the wait was 30 min for no reason there was tables available & there was no experience workers available. I asked the hostess where was the manager and when she pointed me in her direction she was sitting down on her phone. If you see that the restaurant is busy why aren’t you helping as a manger. I thought there was an Asian manager what happen ? He was so nice!!! Overall I was seated but waited awhile and the server who waited the table not sure of her name but she had a head wrap on but was on the phone while taking my order smh. Who’s training the staff someone needs to take over immediately the service is goin downhill.

I'm here to express the same as someone below. Arrived exactly at 9pm on a Monday. Google clearly says they close at 10 pm but the hostess says that they stop seating at 9pm. No sweat but that doesn't make sense-- a whole hour before closing, and turning people away? Why not just say it's closed at 9 pm!?

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience at The Twisted Crab in Bowie Town Center. My group arrived at 9:25 PM, well before the posted closing time of 10 PM. To our surprise, we were told that they were no longer seating customers but could accommodate us with a to-go order instead. The reason given was that they had already cleaned the tables.

Looking around, it was evident that this wasn’t the case—the tables were not all cleaned, and the restaurant wasn’t prepared to close. It’s disheartening to feel like we’re inconveniencing the staff by simply wanting to dine during their advertised business hours. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the customer service here has made us feel unwelcome.

It’s sad to see such a lack of professionalism and courtesy. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly, as customers shouldn’t feel like a burden when they choose to dine at your establishment.

Went to bar to watch football and have cocktails and food. Bartender (heard someone called her "Tia" as she never introduced herself). Frowned and rolles her eyes when I asked that she wipe the area in front of me since someone huat left. I was kind but this is a routine occurence I thought. Gave me my shot in a small plastic glass and the person next to me got an actual shot (glass). I have pics. Not sure why I was treated different but pivoted to only 1 drink and a snack instead of the addtional I had planned on. Normally the vibe is good here as I come by often since I live in Bowie. First time with this bartender. Wish it was a better experience.

This place cannot count or fulfill orders right. The T1 special comes with 2 corn & 2 potatoes why Do I only have 1 of each

This was my second time coming here and overall, the food was great as always but the hospitality was lack luster.

Pros - Food was great and they have weekly specials which is great for a large party. Unlimited refill on soft beverages

Cons - Service was not great and our waitress seemed she was about done for the evening as she barely paid us any attention. Once our meals were served, we were not able to get her again for refills and had to ask another server who also acknowledged our request but never acted on it. Lol.

I do hope the owners pay more attention to training their staff to be more hospitable.
