Local Chinese restaurant with lots of options. I ordered delivery from them a couple of times and the food has been consistent in freshness, excellent quality and good quantity. Highly recommended.

I don’t know what happened to my food, but it tasted like there were chemicals on it. Maybe they were cleaning up and accidentally sprayed cleaning supplies on the food IDK. But I would never go there again. They gave me some microwaved tofu that seemed like it was an order that someone didn’t pick up (mind you, you can order without paying and pay once you pick up). I’ve been a chef for a number of years and I know what tofu taste like when it’s fresh and once you put it in the microwave and serve it again. I won’t be back to this establishment.

HORRIBLY BEWILDERING!!!! I don't typically eat Chinese food, but today I wanted something different. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp and this is what I got; a do-it-yourself dish; No pineapples, vegetables, or peppers. I felt the price was low for shrimp but felt the portion would just be small. I had no idea it wasn't a meal at all. Im not even sure it's actually shrimp. I am so disappointed!!! I will not be back here or any other Chinese establishment; this was my one and final attempt to enjoy Chinese food.

Not a review writer but I had to share this experience. I ordered (over the phone) General Tso bean curd and asked that the tofu be fried slightly hard. I said it twice and she read it back to me …twice. What I get is soggy and limp tofu that looks like it sat around for a few hours. I’ve ordered this dish from top china many times and it’s been done (close to) correct; but this time it was so messed up that I took it back. I spoke to a gentleman and told him how I ordered my food and asked why you would give me this mess that I didn’t order. He tried to explain to me about tofu and what happens when you cook it. Here’s the thing…I’ve made tofu many times, and yes you can fry it slightly hard…in fact, it’s a protein that you can cook like any other protein. I just wanted my food the way I asked it to be prepared but he told me he CAN’T prepare it this way. What he really meant to say is he WON’T prepare as I asked. Maybe he thought because I was black and not Asian that I don’t know how tofu could be cooked. So to end this review, I WON’T be going back to this restaurant.Vegetarian options: They WILL NOT prepare you food they way you want it because, according to them, they CANNOT.

Chicken Fried rice has no chicken. This dish used to have a lot of chicken but now days, you have to search for the chicken pieces. So disappointed

I've lived in the Woodmore for over 8 yrs. My husband ordered me shrimp in garlic sauce this past Saturday. This was my first time eating from China 88 . I couldn't scoop a tablespoon of garlic sauce out of the container for my rice,so I didn't eat the food that night because it was so late. I called China 88 the next day to retrieve some garlic sauce. Joe, the manager or owner asked me to bring the food back. All I asked was to pick up some garlic sauce. When I arrived and opened the my container Joe looked at my food and told me the food was cold and it had enough sauce. I told him it was not enough sauce for me and could I purchase some sauce. Clearly, this became an issue for Joean and he was not going to accommodate me as a customer I left there feeling disrespect and disappointed as he walk away from me laughing and speaking in his native language.Repeating in english that I had enough sauce. Wow! What happened to good customer service. If I was a man would he have handled the situation so distastefully?
