New location. Food was great. The dumpling sampler was a nice way to taste all the available flavors. I also got the beef noodle soup, it was great but wish they allowed modifications. I would have preferred it with chicken. The honey lemonade was spot on.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner for two at Ugly Dumpling in Bowie last night, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh, fast, and incredibly delicious — every dish came out quickly and was bursting with flavor.
The dumplings were especially impressive: beautifully crafted, colorful, and very tasty — easily comparable to other well-known xiao long bao restaurants in the area. Honestly, I’d much rather come back here for these dumplings than drive an hour and wait two more hours somewhere else!
We ordered the cucumber salad, sautéed green beans with garlic, fried dumplings, fried chicken, and the dumpling sampler, and every item was fantastic.
Our server, Max, was a bit nervous at first — completely understandable for a restaurant that has been open less than two weeks — but he was polite, attentive, and did a great job overall. The entire staff was courteous and efficient, and toward the end of our meal, the manager even stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed.
The atmosphere was inviting, the service was warm, and the food was outstanding. We left thoroughly satisfied and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend Ugly Dumpling! 🥟✨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was all so flavorful and came out at the right temperature. Loved the garlic flavor of the string beans and the truffle soup dumplings were superb, too! And the atmosphere was casual and laid back, but modern. Service was very courteous and helpful, too! Definitely coming back!

I had a really disappointing experience. We waited about 20 minutes with no server coming to our table at all. A server from another section just kept staring at us, which made things even more uncomfortable. What made it worse is that people who arrived after us were helped right away, while we were completely ignored. Really unprofessional service. I won’t be coming back.

I came in last night with my friends for the very first time and omg that food was delicious I had to come back today once again for the noodles in sesame sauce and our server Erica was super kind 🥰 definitely will come back

I had a wonderful experience at Ugly Dumpling in Bowie. I ordered the soup dumpling sampler, peanut noodles (which were very flavorful), the brown sugar boba drink, and the chicken wings. The soy ginger wings were the highlight, crispy, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious.
Everything tasted fresh, the portions were great, and the service was friendly. So glad to have this new spot in the community. Will be back! Highly recommend giving it a try!
