I specifically requested to have the order ready by 6 PM, but when I arrived to pick it up, the staff member insisted it was ready at 6:30 PM. Additionally, the employee at the front was rude and unprofessional. Although this location is the most convenient for me, I will not return to order food from here again.

Asian person chiming in here. For small town Chinese food cravings, this is our go-to place.
We got walnut shrimp, General Tso’s chicken, Crab Rangoon, and steamed dumplings. The latter three were repeat orders and things our toddler would eat.
We ordered walnut shrimp for the first time tonight and it’ll definitely be a repeat order for us. For one thing, the shrimp are LARGE! The taste took me back to my childhood of getting walnut shrimp in more ethnic enclaves. I will say that this shrimp is sweeter than I’m used to, but it makes sense since they’re catering to American palates. It’s still yummy!
We haven’t eaten inside the restaurant before, but I suspect our food would’ve tasted less soggy had it not sat in takeout containers for 45 minutes (we went shopping at Weis and momentarily forgot we ordered takeout + time to drive home lol)

Great, GREAT Professional Staff with Great, GREAT Delicious..... Food. Today got the General Tso's chicken, Fried Rice with Broccoli and a egg roll. Lunch special. Fixed Perfectly. DELICIOUS.....? When ever I am in the area, I try to stop by. I get something different All the time but the General Tso's chicken is my favorite. This was a 1 Asia star experience. The food was flavorless. The employee at the counter was rude on pick up. The pork dumplings tasted like bamboo. What does bamboo taste like, you ask? Nothing. The crab rangoons were full of crab though. So if i was forced to go back, I would order those. Oh, and the rice was good. But basically anyone can make rice. For the only Chinese in town, they have an advantage to be the worst food and people will still eat here. I think I’ll be going without.

Consistently delicious Chinese food. The Beef with Snow Peas has a nice brown sauce and the beef is tender. The Sweet Corn Chicken Soup is also very tasty. Staff is friendly and accommodating with special requests.

Anyone who likes the lo mein here has never had lo mein from a good Chinese restaurant. Brunswick doesn’t have great Chinese options but New China is definitely better than this place.

We recently ordered food from Asia Star and I have to say, it was a complete disappointment. We spent $65 on two lobster rice and two hibachi scallops, but what we received was mostly rice with barely visible scallops. Not only that, but the dish was also excessively heavy on onions, which overpowered the taste of the scallops. It felt like a waste of money and a letdown. I truly wish we could get our money back for such a subpar meal. I would not recommend Asia Star if you're looking for quality and value.
