“Stopped in 15 minutes before closing on my husband’s birthday so I could get him something delicious. They never made me feel rushed and were absolutely lovely. I picked a key lime cheesecake slice, a berry tart, and a chocolate crème brûlée. My husband loved them all. Our favorite, though, was the cheesecake. SO delicious. I’ll definitely be back!”

“This 24-hour diner attached to the Travelodge in Brunswick,Maryland is a throwback to the diners of the 1950s. We were looking for a decent meal after being on the road all day, and came upon this diner. The two women, Olivia and Kara who were working there could not have made the experience better. They were friendly, accommodated a special request for my husband, who was in the mood for an open-faced, hot turkey sandwich with gravy. They made the gravy as a special accommodation. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and the food was delicious. I would not hesitate to grab a meal there if you’re in the area.”

I'm not a fast food guy and I'm especially not a big Burger King fan but I was pulling my trailer and had limited options of where I could park and get in some place. I ordered a Double-Whopper (cusrom order). When I got back to the truck and opened the box I was totally surprised by how good the burger looked.and it tasted even better. I'm not sure if I got lucky that day, this specific Burger King is always this good or maybe BK has upped their game since I last ate at one but I was impressed how good that burger was. i would put it up against many sit down restaurants. Well done!”

“Alekos was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious and every bite was full of flavor. The drinks were phenomenal — truly some of the best crafted cocktails I’ve had in a while. They’re top-notch, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet like so many places tend to make them. A special shoutout to Liz the bartender, who was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in what she creates behind the bar. Her cocktails were spot-on and elevated the entire experience. If you’re looking for great food, expertly made drinks, and excellent service, Alekos is definitely worth a visit. We’ll absolutely be back!”

“We've eaten there before. This was a take-out. We got there early. Our order was not ready, which I appreciated. (would have been cold had I been on time) Everything was very well packaged and brought up exactly on time. The stuff portobello was excellent as always. The angel hair pasta with garlic wine sauce and spinach was a bit bland, corrected with salt. The strawberry salmon salad would have been excellent if the salmon wasn't overdone. It was still very good. We did not care for the crab soup. 2 very nice side salads and yummy bread. Large portions. One of the servers offered us water while we waited which was very nice.”

“We are not from the area, and I have some definite food allergies (simple pizzas are typically safe...) and so each dining experience is completely unique and occasionally challenging... But...Oh my gosh! This was one of the best wood fired pizza's we've had in years! Excellent sauce, phenomenal buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and onions! Be still my heart! Husband added some feta! So good! And the Greek Salad was fresh, perfectly balanced with a tasty dressing! We we served by one of the owners, (my chemo-brain has already lost her name...) who was so kind, friendly and accommodating that we felt as if we were regulars. There are only three tables inside, with lots of dining outside... We ate inside, at the center table. We could watch the pizza making process from our table, which was very interesting and nice. They made the end of a Birthday getaway a success! If you're looking for a delicious pizza with a terrific salad and a wonderful team, this is without a doubt, the perfect place to eat while in the Lovettsville area. (Forgot to take a photo!)”

A small, quiet courtyard out back surrounded by the ancient rocks and blooming plants, secluded from street traffic. A friendly staff. Pups welcome. Delicious coffees and teas. And as scrumptious a pastry as any I’ve had, anywhere. Arrive at 7:00 when the baked goods are piping hot and fresh out of the oven and it’s an experience you’d be hard pressed to improve upon.”
