“Went in during the week and had a wonderful experience. We did a tasting and enjoyed all 4 wines very much. Each was unique and described perfectly. Since it was a week day we were allowed to bring in food, although the food they have to offer on the weekends looks great! They have a nice display of chocolates from Conche in Leesburg. There is plenty of space inside and out but we chose the seats by the indoor fireplace and it was perfect!”
“My partner and I visited this cidery during our stay at a bed and breakfast nearby. We really enjoyed the cider flight and wine flight! The mulled cider wine was a nice touch! This place can be tricky to get to if you plan on using an Uber or Lyft. The workers were so kind. One of the workers helped us get to the brewery nearby and back to our bed and breakfast because Lyft rides were so hard to get to. This is definitely worth a visit!”
“This winery is a hidden gem.The owners are welcoming and very knowledgeable. The barn venue was built by the Amish and very tastefully decorated. The views are amazing and the wine is worth the visit.”
“We signed up for something fun with our daughter and her boyfriend. The facility was very cool, with a lot to do aside from just throwing axes. The digital lanes are far better than the standard, boring target we saw when searching places. Being able to easily keep score and change the game type keeps it fun! The service struggled a bit, but it was very crowded while we were there. We will likely go back in the future.”
“The gyros were excellent, and the staff were very professional and easy-going. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick, filling meal, plus the outdoor seating has good views of Maryland Heights.”
“Had the most incredible dining experience this evening at Patowmack Farm. Made even more delightful with the mocktail pairings, not a single course disappointed. Stunning scenery, cozy furnishings, and incredible service come together to ensure a truly unforgettable dining experience. Our server Michael did an excellent job taking care of us as well, ensuring our glasses never went empty while providing excellent (and impressively thorough) descriptions of each course as it was presented. A true gem; I can’t wait to return!”
“I used to live in Bangkok, Thailand as a kid for 8 years. I’ve been in the states for a long while now and have had very good Thai food at some different places but this place EASILY is the best I’ve had since being stateside. Each bite brought me such strong emotions and memories tied to my childhood! The whole staff was so kind and treated our group with true Thai hospitality. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food - look no further!”
“I had heard really good things about this amazing little Italian grocery which offers cured meats and cheeses, so I went with friends one day to see what it was all about…. Upon entering the owner greeted me and explained what he had to offer, many items were imported from Italy and DOP! He readily gives samples as he explains how very sandwiches and breads are made and how things go together to create meals and snacks. They have multiple rooms with various imported Italian goodies… One room is loaded with sweets, another has sauces, pastas, spreads, etc, another has breads – All are worth viewing! Then the cases up front have cheese in one and meats in the other and if you ask, he’ll let you sample!I took home some par-baked, frozen boule, which was imported. They explained how to perfectly finish it off in the oven and I have to say that it came out GREAT! Also took home some amazing tapenade and sun dried cherry tomatoes, which offered a great spread to the sliced boule! For dinner I took home a couple of their sandwiches to finish off in the oven as well: a Sopraseta and asiago and a porchetta and asiago and both were fabulous!Highly recommend stopping in… I can’t wait to return!!”
“Cute little place with a limited but good menu. I wasn't a huge fan of the sourdough, didn't have enough tang. But the asiago loaf was scrumptious and the country loaf was gone in about five minutes. Very cute shop and worth a stop in!”
“Warm, friendly vibe and food that will knock your socks off! The nachos grandes and bread pudding in particular were off the charts yummy! I will be back every time I'm in town. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Please come support this wonderful business!”
“I came in on a weekday to meet up with Foodie friends…. This is a quaint, old rowhouse type joint with friend staff and eclectic, random features… such as tables and chairs, but the coffee situation is very interesting – You grab a random, unique cup from the wall and fill it with coffee from the urns that they keep filled with fresh coffee. The menu is fun, interesting, and unique and is loaded with some really appetizing items. To keep it simple, I went with their Nashville biscuit (as you can imagine, it’s a hot chicken style biscuit). When it came out, I was amazed at how big it was, with two chicken thighs on it and huge cathead biscuits. The flavor of the chicken was excellent with a nice spice and perfect batter/fry to it! I honestly didn’t think I’d eat much of the biscuit as many times even when biscuits are good, they’re dry and after eating half, I’m done, but not this time… I ate the ENTIRE THING!!! The biscuit was extremely tasty and moist!!! Perfect biscuit, in fact!!!Overall, I absolutely enjoyed the food and the service was friendly… Highly recommend stopping in!!”
“Dropped in for a leisurely lunch and to take care of some remote work. Placed me in a quiet corner, away from other diners. Food was fabulous. The cheesecake is to die for! A few minor hiccups with order, but it was handled quickly and with grace. Always the most telling sign of a place; how they respond when things don't go as planned.”
“Great ambience with authentic Nepali taste, Really enjoyed, I forgot your name but didi if you’re reading this, just wanted to say you’re awesome. We will definitely come back soon.”
“This has become our favorite place to come eat in Loudoun County. The food is always amazing and the owner will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied.”
“SimplyBe Coffee is a mission-based gospel enterprise owned by Tree of Life. They employ people with disabilities and believe that all humans are "fearfully and wonderfully made." It's a place where everyone can go and SimplyBe, and you always feel that way coming here which is why it's so easy to stay for hours. The space is large and cozy and the gooey bars are amazing!Kid-friendliness: SimplyBe has a large play area inside filled with toys. Kids love it!”
“Wow! If you like red velvet cakes, you'll love their red velvet muffin! Chocolate chips and if you warm it up a warm cream cheese center! Divine! I can't to come back to try more! Plus my smores latte was amazing!”
“We love this little coffee shop! The atmosphere is very cozy and their coffee is great. This is a favorite stop in for us when we come to town.Parking: Small lot right next to the shop and some street parking”
“We ordered take out from here for the first time- it was amazing! My whole family loved it! So fresh, very clean. We will definitely order here again! Give it a try!”
“It's such a beautiful space. Coffee and muffins are my favorite. The staff is absolutely wonderful! It's one of my favorite stops when I'm in town.”
“Great coffee shop with lots of coffee, tea and home made sandwiches, soup and bakery items. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about their menu items. They also have many locally produced gift items for ”
“We had burgers that were good. They were a bit overcooked. The service was not the best this day. We waited for drinks and then a while to order. The appetizers were awesome and would be better if they were actually hot.Again this may have not been a typical day, based on my friends review.Quaint place with a great atmosphere.Willing to give this spot a second chance.”
“I have been going I have been going to this Deli "mini chain" since around 1980 (Herndon location) and here in Lansdowne for the last 4 years or so... the quality of the meats and bread is outstanding as well as the friendly service!”
“Most delicious pastries I had on the entire Appalachian Trail. The iced coffee and sandwiches were amazing too! They even invited me for a free wine tasting after I was done eating lunch. I had to keep on hiking that day, so I didn't do the wine tasting, but I'll never forget how kind they were to a stinky thru-hiker! I hope to make it back here someday to enjoy more great food and hospitality ☺️”
“Service is always great. Quick to be seated, quick to order, food comes out hot and delicious every time. The pizza is phenomenal. The pesto gnocchi is delicious. My son and I love to go in and have a slice of pizza and wings. I love how they serve individual slices. The staff is great. Syed is amazing business owner and wonderful person. He greets everyone like they're in his home and are relatives .Vegetarian options: Plenty of pasta and salad optionsParking: Flat parking, easily accessible, curb accessKid-friendliness: Friendly, indoor and outdoor options. Not the best for very large parties during busy times but fine for 4-6Wheelchair accessibility: Flat ground, handicap parking and curb access”
“I when here with my brother this morning for the first time. We got two drinks. Mine was the English fog which was good. The chocolate and orange scone(you don’t taste much orange but I was fine with that) was very good texture and taste and good size. The French toast with cinnamon apples was very good but a small portion for the price so I probably wouldn’t order again for that reason. Pastry’s were the best part. There was lots of seating rooms. All quiet and nice to sit and read or chat in.”
“It's wild to see that this place has anything less than a 5 star rating, I live about 45 minutes away and still bring my daughter as often as I can. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly, and the ice cream has always been amazing albeit I do agree it's a little pricey, but that's what you get when the milk comes from the farm right behind the building and not from a corporation. My ONLY negative review about here is how muddy the the ground gets by the slides, alot of times we have to pass on playing.Parking: Gravel parking lot, numerous unmarked spaces.Kid-friendliness: The staff has been amazing and patient with my daughter (5yo) every time we've been in, offering tastes when she doesn't know what she wants, to always having a smile and actually talking to her like she's a person and asking her what she wants.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is gravel, front entrance has a double door that can be opened, everything is on 1 level.”
“Many food places have dropped in quality since Covid but Moms Apple Pie has been consistently amazing. Their blackberry pie is one of the best. Buttery crust and fresh fruit inside. 10/10”
“Can't recommend this place enough! The best Gyro I've had in the area, the baklava was to die for and the whole vibe of the resteraunt is very relaxing and joyfully. Those who work here are clearly happy to do so!”
“I didn't go here to drink, but I had the food and it was pretty good. This was my second trip and it was better than the first. Smash burgers were good as was the Mac. If you don't want alcohol your drink options are limited.”
“This family owned business makes exceptional beers and exceptional memories. My wife & our friends and family have been visiting Wheatland Spring Farm Brewery for several years - and keep coming back for more! From a consistent stream of events to unique and expertly crafted beers literally made from ingredients grown on this farm - everyone should know about this hidden gem of a venue.”
