Market in The Gap Reviews
We are not from the area, and I have some definite food allergies (simple pizzas are typically safe...) and so each dining experience is completely unique and occasionally challenging...
But...Oh my gosh!
This was one of the best wood fired pizza's we've had in years!
Excellent sauce, phenomenal buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and onions!
Be still my heart! Husband added some feta!
So good!
And the Greek Salad was fresh, perfectly balanced with a...read full review
What a charming stop after our float to enjoy some delicious stone-fired pizza and wine! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious!😋
Small (three inside tables) Italian bistro served by Andy himself. The pizza is superb as is everything on the menue. Great wines at fare prices. Even an outside fireplace. What isn't to like?

Market in The Gap offers some of the best pizza around, with a perfect crust from their wood-fired oven. The menu includes classic variations and unique specials. The rustic space adds to the experience, where customers can watch the oven in action. The pizza is excellent and delicious, with a thin and crispy crust that has tons of flavor. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The food comes out super quick. The wine selection is excellent. They also offer hummus and pita, which is really yummy. The pita is puffed and fresh out of the oven, and the hummus has a nice balanced flavor with a hint of lemon. It is a cute place with a cozy feel. Service is order at counter, pay, get served. Market in The Gap is worthy of a try, and they offer vegetarian options as well.
Customers praise the great tasting pizzas and beer, the friendly service, and the pleasant outdoor setting, even during rush hour. The small size of the restaurant is offset by the love and care put into the food, especially the pizza with its perfect crust. Customers are delighted to meet the passionate owner, Andy, who takes pride in his craft. The Caprese salad is also a highlight, described as massive and incredible. Customers from the New Haven area in Connecticut, known for their high standards for pizza, are impressed by the thin, crispy, and flavorful crust.
