“We are not from the area, and I have some definite food allergies (simple pizzas are typically safe...) and so each dining experience is completely unique and occasionally challenging... But...Oh my gosh! This was one of the best wood fired pizza's we've had in years! Excellent sauce, phenomenal buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and onions! Be still my heart! Husband added some feta! So good! And the Greek Salad was fresh, perfectly balanced with a tasty dressing! We we served by one of the owners, (my chemo-brain has already lost her name...) who was so kind, friendly and accommodating that we felt as if we were regulars. There are only three tables inside, with lots of dining outside... We ate inside, at the center table. We could watch the pizza making process from our table, which was very interesting and nice. They made the end of a Birthday getaway a success! If you're looking for a delicious pizza with a terrific salad and a wonderful team, this is without a doubt, the perfect place to eat while in the Lovettsville area. (Forgot to take a photo!)”

“We recently visited the Winery for my birthday and were very pleased. Doukenie Rose is one of my favorites! We truly enjoyed the charcuterie board as well. I remember some years back (when the Matriarch was still living) that she took my grandson riding around the property on a golf cart. Very friendly people indeed.”

“Today was our second visit to Joan +Joe’s. And it did not disappoint. The Midwinter Latte was SO GOOD!! My husband got his hot & I got mine iced & both were delicious. Last week my husband got the Caramel Dream & he liked it as well. Very good quality. And the whipped cream is so yummy too. The staff is so friendly & welcoming. “I had the best hamburger and fries at BFC that I have had in many years, I usually order a hamburger and fries at any new restaurant, because that's the best way to see how good they are at what they do. This place deserves a 10 star review...I ate there several times when I was visiting family in Round Hill Va. I've had burger and fries from one side of the USA, this is the best. The fries are outstanding the buns and burgers are great, nice clean friendly environment. Wish I could get a dble bacon burger combo sent here to Wyoming!!!!”

An interesting old building wonderfully restored, with seating on multiple levels; an outdoors balcony perched over the street below, where you can sit and read or simply observe, unseen by pedestrians, shaded and with a fresh breeze. A small, quiet courtyard out back surrounded by the ancient rocks and blooming plants, secluded from street traffic. A friendly staff. Pups welcome. Delicious coffees and teas. And as scrumptious a pastry as any I’ve had, anywhere. Arrive at 7:00 when the baked goods are piping hot and fresh out of the oven and it’s an experience you’d be hard pressed to improve upon.”

“You can tell when you drive up to a place if the food is good by how busy the parking lot is. Sure was busy, but a few minute wait just allowed us to fall in love with the quaint interior of this Cafe. The food was as good as the wait staff! “My partner and I visited this cidery during our stay at a bed and breakfast nearby. We really enjoyed the cider flight and wine flight! The mulled cider wine was a nice touch! This place can be tricky to get to if you plan on using an Uber or Lyft. The workers were so kind. One of the workers helped us get to the brewery nearby and back to our bed and breakfast because Lyft rides were so hard to get to. This is definitely worth a visit!”
