“We are not from the area, and I have some definite food allergies (simple pizzas are typically safe...) and so each dining experience is completely unique and occasionally challenging... But...Oh my gosh! This was one of the best wood fired pizza's we've had in years! Excellent sauce, phenomenal buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and onions! Be still my heart! Husband added some feta! So good! And the Greek Salad was fresh, perfectly balanced with a tasty dressing! We we served by one of the owners, (my chemo-brain has already lost her name...) who was so kind, friendly and accommodating that we felt as if we were regulars. There are only three tables inside, with lots of dining outside... We ate inside, at the center table. We could watch the pizza making process from our table, which was very interesting and nice. They made the end of a Birthday getaway a success! If you're looking for a delicious pizza with a terrific salad and a wonderful team, this is without a doubt, the perfect place to eat while in the Lovettsville area. (Forgot to take a photo!)”

“Oof, what’s better than enjoying wine with a beautiful view? Not much lol. And you can get that here or a brewski if that’s what you prefer. There are tons of wineries in the area but very few have views like this. This is definitely one you want to come visit. It’s an enjoyable experience and I am definitely coming back.”

“Lisa did our tasting and provided a little history on the winery. According to her the winery is the second oldest in Virginia. She did a wonderful job. We had a large party and had a private room looking out lakeside where there is duck and geese and turtles. A great place to their whites and reds. Two nice tasting trays paired with our wines. “Today was our second visit to Joan +Joe’s. And it did not disappoint. The Midwinter Latte was SO GOOD!! My husband got his hot & I got mine iced & both were delicious. Last week my husband got the Caramel Dream & he liked it as well. Very good quality. And the whipped cream is so yummy too. The staff is so friendly & welcoming. Looking forward to many trips in the future”

“I had the best hamburger and fries at BFC that I have had in many years, I usually order a hamburger and fries at any new restaurant, because that's the best way to see how good they are at what they do. This place deserves a 10 star review...I ate there several times when I was visiting family in Round Hill Va. I've had burger and fries from one side of the USA, this is the best. The fries are outstanding the buns and burgers are great, nice clean friendly environment. Wish I could get a dble bacon burger combo sent here to Wyoming!!!!”

“Mom's is the place to go to for pie (If you arent baking one yourself, that is). They always have a great selection. Get there fairly early if you are looking for something specific, but honestly, any of them are good. But mom's sells more than pies. If you want to get a sandwich, craft beer, local food products, wine; Mom's is the place for you. Selection may vary between stores. The store in Round Hill, along Rt7 (westbound side) had a wide variety, and as always, friendly service.”
