“I absolutely loved discovering this little gem! I stopped in last week and ended up leaving with three different slices of pie, locally sourced chocolate milk, Mediterranean lamb sausage, chicken Thai sausage, and a few fun little knick knacks. Needless to say, I had a hard time narrowing things down!

Everything was delicious and the shop itself is just SO cute. It’s one of those places where you walk in for one thing and somehow find yourself wanting to take half the store home with you. They have an amazing variety of food, desserts, unique gifts, clothing, and all kinds of fun finds. It’s such a charming little spot with something for everyone.

The pies were absolutely divine, the specialty items were fantastic, and I loved being able to find locally sourced products alongside unique goodies you don’t see everywhere. You can tell there’s a lot of thought and love behind what they carry.

If you haven’t checked this place out yet, GO! Whether you’re looking for an amazing dessert, something delicious for dinner, a unique gift, or just a fun place to browse, this shop is definitely worth a visit. I’ll absolutely be back, and next time I’m trying even more pie!”

“Wonderful afternoon celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Excellent staff, so hospitable and knowledgeable. We loved the Williams Gap White, blue cheese from a local artisan, and being able to bring a cake!”

With over 500 reviews I rarely give a 1 star but this year it goes to the owner of this restaurant. My fair and honest reviews speak for themselves. As a business owner myself in the service industry as well as I use to own 4 food franchises owners should realize their word and communication is the most valuable asset. “We stayed two nights at the Red Fox Inn while celebrating our 46th Wedding Anniversary. The Orange County room in the original historic building was cozy, spacious and well-appointed. The bed was really comfortable and the sitting room was perfect for sipping champagne and wine at night or enjoying the box breakfast and coffee in the morning. We were not disappointed with our room selection for our stay in Middleburg. Our stay was wonderful and a memorable experience. The tavern bar is also small and cozy but does not open until 4:30 PM. Only one disappointment was that The Tavern Inn no longer offers lunch and their dinners are limited to a rather pricey $125 per person 4-course meal offering since the ala carte menu was discontinued a while back. Without the ability to choose from a wider and more reasonably priced menu selection, we chose to eat elsewhere in Middleburg during our stay.”

“Today was our second visit to Joan +Joe’s. And it did not disappoint. The Midwinter Latte was SO GOOD!! My husband got his hot & I got mine iced & both were delicious. Last week my husband got the Caramel Dream & he liked it as well. Very good quality. And the whipped cream is so yummy too. The staff is so friendly & welcoming. “We are not from the area, and I have some definite food allergies (simple pizzas are typically safe...) and so each dining experience is completely unique and occasionally challenging... But...Oh my gosh! This was one of the best wood fired pizza's we've had in years! Excellent sauce, phenomenal buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and onions! Be still my heart! Husband added some feta! So good! And the Greek Salad was fresh, perfectly balanced with a tasty dressing! We we served by one of the owners, (my chemo-brain has already lost her name...) who was so kind, friendly and accommodating that we felt as if we were regulars. There are only three tables inside, with lots of dining outside... We ate inside, at the center table. We could watch the pizza making process from our table, which was very interesting and nice. They made the end of a Birthday getaway a success! If you're looking for a delicious pizza with a terrific salad and a wonderful team, this is without a doubt, the perfect place to eat while in the Lovettsville area. (Forgot to take a photo!)”

“My partner and I visited this cidery during our stay at a bed and breakfast nearby. We really enjoyed the cider flight and wine flight! The mulled cider wine was a nice touch! This place can be tricky to get to if you plan on using an Uber or Lyft. The workers were so kind. One of the workers helped us get to the brewery nearby and back to our bed and breakfast because Lyft rides were so hard to get to. This is definitely worth a visit!”

“Wow for starters my husband got loaded steak fries and where I’m from it’s steakums nooo this was actual steak on fries it was so good I ate some of his plus what I ordered I ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich and fries it was so good . “I had the best hamburger and fries at BFC that I have had in many years, I usually order a hamburger and fries at any new restaurant, because that's the best way to see how good they are at what they do. This place deserves a 10 star review...I ate there several times when I was visiting family in Round Hill Va. I've had burger and fries from one side of the USA, this is the best. The fries are outstanding the buns and burgers are great, nice clean friendly environment. Wish I could get a dble bacon burger combo sent here to Wyoming!!!!”

“Love the atmosphere and the food. I came in by myself without reservations. The host at the front went out of his way to find me a table but none were available and a 45 minute wait. Finally a seat at the bar opened and he asked me if I minded sitting there, I said no problem. The bar tender who waited on me was very polite and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Great service and checked on me frequently. I highly recommend this place! I had Fish and Chips snd Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. That was soo good.”

The have not one wine that I can say I didn't like....but do have my favorites José Rosé and Dolce 😍😍 Yesterday (June 26, 2023) had the opportunity to meet Mr. José who's been with them for over 12 years and takes amazing care of the grapes, then got to meet Mr. Nelson (the owner) he is a wonderfu man and full fo good vibes. We had a wonderful conversation full laugh and now I understand why this winery is so amazing. 100% recommend, wines are delicious and affordable.”
