Had an absolutely wonderful time. We went with another couple and had a great experience. The owner, Nancy, was amazing and answered all of our questions. The wine is great. We liked every single wine we tasted. Typically you are lucky to find 1 or 2 wines that you like in a tasting; however, we liked them all. We cannot wait to return when it gets warmer out to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. Would highly recommend a visit.
When we moved to the Eastern panhandle of WV a few years back we started to explore a little and thought "let's check out some vineyards". We went to one that was very pretentious, cold and a huge disappointment. We gave up on the vineyard idea. Fast forward to last year when a friend recommended 868 and said they thought we'd like it. I loved this vineyard. The service was amazing. The manager was so sweet. The ambiance is cute. I also actually really enjoyed the wine flights. At first glance I thought the truffle flight was expensive for a small box of chocolate BUT I really enjoyed the chocolate and the wine so I would recommend. I also tried the sweet flight which was equally as good for a great price.
