“My first time here, but this is the best place I’ve eaten in a very, very long time. My family of 4 Adults and four little children all had a great Dinner here. The service was fantastic even though they were down to one Chef, one waitress and one bartender. If this were American Idol, I’d hit the Golden Buzzer. By the way, aside from the great Dinners, the Fiery Mussels were to die for. Best I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty of them.….. to include famous Berthas at Fels Point, in Baltimore.”

And the decor is fun with the records and Virginia artists and famous people all around.”

“I had the best hamburger and fries at BFC that I have had in many years, I usually order a hamburger and fries at any new restaurant, because that's the best way to see how good they are at what they do. This place deserves a 10 star review...I ate there several times when I was visiting family in Round Hill Va. I've had burger and fries from one side of the USA, this is the best. The fries are outstanding the buns and burgers are great, nice clean friendly environment. Wish I could get a dble bacon burger combo sent here to Wyoming!!!!”

“We stayed two nights at the Red Fox Inn while celebrating our 46th Wedding Anniversary. The Orange County room in the original historic building was cozy, spacious and well-appointed. The bed was really comfortable and the sitting room was perfect for sipping champagne and wine at night or enjoying the box breakfast and coffee in the morning. We were not disappointed with our room selection for our stay in Middleburg. Our stay was wonderful and a memorable experience. The tavern bar is also small and cozy but does not open until 4:30 PM. Only one disappointment was that The Tavern Inn no longer offers lunch and their dinners are limited to a rather pricey $125 per person 4-course meal offering since the ala carte menu was discontinued a while back. Without the ability to choose from a wider and more reasonably priced menu selection, we chose to eat elsewhere in Middleburg during our stay.”

“I was there last. night (Thursday) and the Octopus was delightful as was my 'ordinary' salmon plate with their delicious veggies....The home sparking pink wine served in an unusual goblet was ample and perfect (a substitute for the more expensive Brut when they didn't have theirs cooled._ The alternative was just as good. I'm no connoisseur but I know a good meal when I'm finished. Food ample and the less expensive dishes looked just as appetizing as the more expensive ones. I want to try almost everything once....”

“We are not from the area, and I have some definite food allergies (simple pizzas are typically safe...) and so each dining experience is completely unique and occasionally challenging... But...Oh my gosh! This was one of the best wood fired pizza's we've had in years! Excellent sauce, phenomenal buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes and onions! Be still my heart! Husband added some feta! So good! And the Greek Salad was fresh, perfectly balanced with a tasty dressing! We we served by one of the owners, (my chemo-brain has already lost her name...) who was so kind, friendly and accommodating that we felt as if we were regulars. There are only three tables inside, with lots of dining outside... We ate inside, at the center table. We could watch the pizza making process from our table, which was very interesting and nice. They made the end of a Birthday getaway a success! If you're looking for a delicious pizza with a terrific salad and a wonderful team, this is without a doubt, the perfect place to eat while in the Lovettsville area. (Forgot to take a photo!)”

“Stopped by Dana’s Cake Shoppe in the Village at Leesburg and tried the Marble Nutella cupcake. It was absolutely delicious. Perfectly soft cake with just the right amount of sweetness, and the Nutella flavor really came through without being overpowering. It completely hit the spot when I needed a sweet treat. My wife and I finally made it to MELT in Leesburg after hearing great things, and let me just say… shame on us for waiting so long. Debbie, the owner (and now part-time head-bopper), greeted us like we were long-lost cousins showing up late to the family BBQ. When I told her it was our first visit, she gave me a playful bop on the head with our table number and asked, “What took you so long?” Touché, Debbie. Touché. Now onto the burgers… and yes, they deserve their own paragraph. I ordered the A Jazzed Up Swiss Burger — and let me tell you, this was no run-of-the-mill meat puck. We're talking Gruyère so rich it probably pays taxes in Switzerland, Black Forest ham that must’ve taken a first-class flight in, baby bella mushrooms sautéed to perfection, and a tangy smear of whole-grain mustard tying it all together. Every bite said, “Sir, this is not fast food — this is fine dining between buns.” My wife had the Paris Burger — imagine garlic-kissed beef topped with brie so creamy it probably auditioned for a romance film, with balsamic onions adding the drama. Let’s just say she stopped talking mid-bite. That’s how you know it’s good. The vibe? Casual but classy, with staff who treat you like family (the good side of the family, not the ones who borrow your tools and never bring them back). And yes… in a moment of grilled beef-fueled euphoria, I may have proclaimed myself the Burger King. Debbie gave me a look. I instantly realized my mistake. This isn’t that kind of burger joint. This is a burger experience. Saying "Burger King" here is like bringing boxed wine to a French vineyard. Long story short — go to MELT. Go now. Go often. And when Debbie bops you on the head, just smile… because that means you're officially part of the MELT kingdom. 👑🍔”

“Tuscarora Mill (Tuskies) Restaurant went above and beyond to make our son's High School Graduation lunch special (he is first-generation), even though i only booked a reservation the day before. They phoned me to check his name and printed out special menus as a keepsake and gave him a gift at the end. They were attentive and understanding that by the time he came to eat the stress and excitement of the day suddenly hit him and he was exhausted affecting his appetite. They happily got him a box to take it home without any judgement. The food was tasty and well cooked and staff helpful and kind (they even gave us a choice of table). The main dishes are on the pricier side, so it is why we chose it to mark his occasion. However, we will be back for drinks and appetisers in future.”

“I build furniture and cabinetry, and the last few weeks we installed cabinetry near Round Hill, Virginia. We tried a few places in the area for lunch, and then visited this place for a sandwich. The food was so good, we abandoned all the other spots and ate here for the next five days. My only issue, as it was cold outside, is that there is no place to eat inside these days. Perhaps bring a few tables back for this purpose. Favorite sandwich: turkey, havarti, pickles, on sourdough bread.”

“Looking for a great breakfast / lunch / dinner spot? Look no frother than the Purcellville Pub. Driving through the area around lunch time and saw a review about the Fish & Chips and had to stop and verify. And no doubt - great crispy Fish & Chips. 2 large filets with basket of fries. I was really, really good. We also tried the Barrel Burger and the BBQ sauce with crispy bacon and fried onions was very good as well. We left full bummed it’s a location we might only get to once. So glad we did.”
