Quaint, out of the way diner near Brunswick. We stopped for lunch on a Thursday. The decor and atmosphere are old-school. My wife got the mushroom Swiss burger and I got a cheeseburger. The food was great, and the server was very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend.
It’s classic American diner experience and the location is convenient. Tables felt a little sticky also the cooking units looked greasy. It was Saturday and this place also serves as the breakfast spot for the motel next door, so the place was packed. There were only one waiter and one cook so we waited quite long for our order.
There is nothing special about this place. My wife and I visited the diner before going to H.F. and we've read that they have amazing cinnamon rolls, and that's a big negative. The breakfast I've ordered was ok at best, and the wife was fairly disappointed in her meal. Maybe the diner was having a rough day because we were the only customers in there. The diner is charming, but everything was just ok. If you want refill on your drink, you have to get their attention...
