My friends and I took a break from our bike trip on the C&O Canal towpath, and stopped into the Potomac St Grill for lunch. The owner was very friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome the whole time. He brought us pitchers of ice water right away, which was greatly appreciated by our group of hot and thirsty cyclists.
And, oh yes, the food was very good! Everybody was happy with their meal, and I particularly recommend the chicken shawarma - it was excellent!

Awesome service! I ordered chicken nuggets and fries, and lemonade! The lemonade was delicious, it even had a little lime in it! We went there after seeing the Amtrak at the historic Brunswick station.
The food is always good. The server was super quiet and reserved. Our food came quickly. The building is old and needs some repairs. My kids were really bothered by the big fan blowing to keep it cool. Their napkins and hair were blowing around. It definitely has character and good food.
The waitress was excellent, food was delicious and fresh, and we all left extremely impressed! The Shwarma was so good I’ll be thinking about it for a few weeks. The Baba Ghanoush was on par with some of the best I’ve ever had. I wish I lived closer, I would eat here all the time!
