Honey Bun Cake Factory

My fiance was so amazing 🤩 he ordered me a cake from this bakery because a friend of ours brought the strawberry cheesecake to our thanksgiving dinner 2 years ago and the cake was amazing. My birthday was this week and my fiance ordered me the red velvet cake. This bakery had the nerve to put my cake in a aluminum pan. Where is the class? For a bakery to pack my birthday cake in a aluminum pan. This turned me off and I will never buy a cake from this place again. The red velvet cake wasn't even that good. I'm not happy at all and my fiance deserves his money back. What Real bakery packs a birthday cake in a aluminum pan and the icing got ruined and was all over the aluminum lid. Horrible ass bakery. What type of birthday cake is this.

I enjoyed the cakes I purchased. They were both very good and moist. The employees are very nice as well. Try the pound cake.

Parking: There are only 3-4 parallel parking spaces directly in front of the business.

Decent Cakes, Could Be Better

I went in last week to grab a few cakes. The cakes were okay—I’ve had better, but I’ve also had worse. I wasn’t really a fan of the cheesecake, but the rum cake and lemon cake were very moist and flavorful. Overall, it wasn’t a standout experience, but I would definitely come back, especially to support a local Black-owned business!

It was my first time trying Honey Bun Cake Factory, but when their truck was in the area I decided to give them a shot. The cake is a big portion and it tastes so good! I didn't know that they were located so far away until I saw their business card. If I did then I would've bought a second slice!

Sept 11 2024 walked in and greeted right away. Very clean and smelled amazing. I git the brisket sandwich no coleslaw.. not toasted but I did get the BBQ sauce 12/10. so flavorful and tender. I did not get my bun toasted and the sandwich wasn't warm. but idk, I warmed up at home! ( made a tictok) I also got the rum/henny mix cake and the strawberry shortcake. Both huge flavors and so delicious. the henny/ rum cake has gluten. dairy and nuts. overall the experience at this stop was 15/10

THIS place is horrible don't recommend.the food had a water taste to it.They were rude and cussed at me

This was my first time at this Bakery & I was greeted by Anthony (owner) who is so polite and made you feel so welcome, Anthony showed me all the baked items in the case & gave me his opinion of each cake, well I ended up purchasing 6 slices of the different cakes. I will definitely be coming back. Oh I forgot they sell sandwiches & dinners too!!!

Wow! I heard folks talking about the cake factory. The sweets are ridiculously scrumptious. Incredible. They even had my favorite cannabis shot, which went perfect with their rum cake!!!!

Their cakes are fantastic. I ordered the rum apple caramel cake, rum cake, sweet pototoe cake and the honey bun cake. All of the cakes I ordered were absolutely delicious.

My husband and I, are only able to enjoy the deliciousness of honey bun factory once a year. We normally get it at Linganore Wine fest. We love the sweet potato honey bun cake. We look forward to it every year. This year, the young men working the truck were so polite. Just go ahead and get the cakes; you won’t be disappointed!

I love the classic honey bun cake and the rum cake. All that I have shared these cakes with have nothing but good things to say. I have been enjoying the honey bun cake for years. I will be back again. Also had the wonderful carrot cake for the first time, all three were for an out-of-town party. 🙃
