My husband and I had croaker dinners. The food was delicious. We dined in. The croaker were large and cooked perfectly. The sides ( macaroni and cheese, cabbage, collard greens and mashed potatoes) were very good. The cornbread was very good too.

Woman at front desk ( Very short african american ) was very rude to me, not sure if it was cause my race or i look unusual bad customer service and the banana pudding is very watery i went on tuesday around 6

I normally come here all the time, but the customer service lately has really declined. I visited on Saturday, and the young man with locs and a black durag was behind the counter. When I walked in, he was on the phone taking a long order. I understand wanting to make sure that order was correct, but he didn’t acknowledge me at all—not even a quick “I’ll be right with you.”
I ended up standing there for about 10 minutes while he continued helping others he already had on the side. I was honestly about to leave before he finally asked what I ordered.
The customer service definitely needs improvement.

Got the catfish meal with cabbage and greens, was 9/10. Prices are great in 2025. Would forsure recommend split the meal with my mom and we were both full.

I placed a delivery order at it was awful my catfish wasn’t fried hard like I asked/ wings were rubbery couldn’t eat them asked for them to be fried hard as well whole order went in the trash. So disappointed
The Mac n cheese was gd but the mash potatoes with gravy want to my liking. I was disappointed with the banana pudding because it didn’t have the bananas in it. My first and last time dining here and I spent over $30 for this food.

We were there yesterday, had a seafood dinner, which we ate in restaurant. The meal was well prepared and the fish, shrimp, and crab cake were very fresh. The collard greens were well seasoned without being salty. We will definitely make this a go to place in the future and during the summer months when I cook less and we eat out more. The prices are extremely reasonable for a good home cooked meal and customer service is very good.

I have been meaning to post this a month ago, but better late than never. I just want to say this is a very hard working black owned business! The owners are COMMITTED to making sure they serve excellence! I had a bad experience one visit, from the food to the service from the assistant at the register. I was utterly shocked!
Now I have been several times and instead of getting on social media trashing them, I kindly inboxed their page and the owners called me immediately.
They apologized first, remedied the situation, and spoke to the staff about their service! Problem solved, I ate good, and will continue to!

The fried chicken was amazingly good The potato casserole was good but did have alot of strings in it. The green beans were delightful! The whiting fish wasn't whiting it was swai.
