I have been meaning to post this a month ago, but better late than never. I just want to say this is a very hard working black owned business! The owners are COMMITTED to making sure they serve excellence! I had a bad experience one visit, from the food to the service from the assistant at the register. I was utterly shocked!
Now I have been several times and instead of getting on social media trashing them, I kindly inboxed their page and the owners called me immediately.
They apologized first, remedied the situation, and spoke to the staff about their service! Problem solved, I ate good, and will continue to!

This place has became one of my favorite spots since my 1st visit. The fried chicken is well seasoned and crispy & no matter what time of the day I come my food is always fresh and the customer service is top tier, which I enjoy most. M&D has good southern meals and a wonderful atmosphere. Perfect addition to Bryan’s road shopping center.

Food was amazing my kids enjoyed the steak and cheese with fries and my daughter is very picky but she loved her sandwich and ranch mix lol and the catfish was fye and fried perfectly hard the way I was asked we will gladly be back again

If you love crabcakes this is not the place for you. Thumbs down --. Before I ordered I asked if the crabcakes contained lots of filler. Two staff said "No". Untrue--Mostly filler. Mushy on the inside. Could not see any crabmeat. So disappointing. Prices are on the higher side which is why I expected better food. Only a few options for beverages a couple of sodas (no diet) and bottled water. Crinkle fries were the best thing in the meal. Coleslaw was ok. I will not be revisiting. I wish them success in their future endeavors.

Just had this today. Don’t be fooled by the reviews. Food is terrible. Like bland asf. No seasoning. Had the catfish dinner. Yams was prolly best out of the food i had but it all was sub par. Greens was bland asf. Catfish was bland asf. Not good. Just keeping it real. I don’t even usually leave reviews. Just had to let yall know it wasn’t good.

Decided to give this place a try, my mom is a big fan. However my husband and I were not impressed. The crab cake looked and taste like it was cooked in old grease. The Mac and Cheese had no flavor and was watery. The best part were the greens. The greens are the only thing I could honestly recommend out of the whole platter. More than likely my first and last visit.
Thank you M&D for cooking for us. I would rate the food 5 stars but then I'd be saying you're as good or even better than this old southern country cooking woman and I just can't do that? Seriously we enjoyed our plates. We drove an hour to get to you due to what we had heard about the restaurant. I can say every neighborhood needs you. If you were closer to me there would always be something from you on my table. Good job M&D. Look forward to more locations! We were so hungry I forgot to get pictures
