I have lived in South America and traveled to Central America always looking for the tastiest fresh food... so when I went to Vanessa's Sabor Latino in MD... I did not expect to have the best Birria tacos I've ever had in my life... I can't get them off my mind they were so good... The rice and refried beans were simple and perfect, but the green adn red sauce and the birria broth..... INSANE. The meal was mind-blowing and any time I'm within 50 miles of this Taco shop.... I'll be going. WORTH a trip from where I live 75 miles away to enjoy that food.

It was my first time buying from this restaurant. The service was quick and efficient. The food was hot, and their prices were reasonable. I have had better tacos, and the beans tasted a bit sour, as if they were about to go bad. However, the food does satisfy your hunger.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, Vanessa’s Sabor Latino in Bryans Road, MD, is a true hidden gem that deserves all the praise!

The food here is absolutely incredible. The elote is a must-try—perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of creamy, cheesy goodness. The burrito is not only massive but also packed with fresh and flavorful ingredients that will leave you satisfied for hours. The chicken is tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, bursting with authentic Latin flavor.

I can’t rave enough about their quesadillas—crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and utterly delicious. And don’t skip the apple soda; it’s refreshingly appley and pairs perfectly with any dish.

But what really takes everything to the next level is the cilantro lime sauce—a flavor bomb that elevates every bite. I also highly recommend getting the beans and eating them with chips—such a simple combination, but it’s executed so well that it’s downright addictive.

Vanessa’s Sabor Latino has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Whether you’re grabbing lunch or dinner, this place will leave you raving about the food long after your meal is over. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Also it’s important to mention they give back to the community! They have helped Matthew Henson raise PTO funds and celebrate the teachers.

Don’t waste your money here. Portions are way too small compared to their prices. Servers forgot one of my platters and didn’t apologize for forgetting when I drove back to pick it up. Plus their phone number is either disconnected or turned off. You more for your money at Chipotle!

They are so welcoming and incredibly friendly. The food is always amazing!!!!

By far the best place ever, this is the only place where you can get a good elote from. These other taco spots could never compete to this place, other shops make their food out of money whilst Vanessa’s taco shop makes their food with love. Got a elote there and each bite made me feel like i’ve been kissed by 10,000 angels. Best taco spot ever.

We went on a “tortilla tasting tour” of this area/waldorf, and Vanessa’s tortillas came in first place out of 10 spots we tried. So happy to discover this one- looking forward to coming back and eating at one of the outdoor picnic tables.

I stopped by for the first time today (10/18/24) on the recommendation from a co-worker. The special was 3 tacos (any style) for a discounted price. I took advantage of this and ended up with a shedded beef on a corn tortilla, a steak on a corn tortilla, and a shrimp on a flour tortilla. Each one was freshly prepared and packed with yummyness. I also sprang for the ground beef nachos and was not disappointed at all. I could just tell that all of this food was freshly prepared and constructed with the idea that someone was going to have a good meal.
As a bonus, Vanessa, the owner, came out with a cup of iced pineapple water and gave it to me. She sat and talked with me for several minutes while I enjoyed her offerings.
All and all it was a 5 star experience. I did derate the atmosphere because of, well it's in the back of a parking lot without much of a view or welcoming environment. But if you want some excitement Latino fair... definitely don't miss an opportunity to visit.
