We really enjoyed our visit to Bob Evans. However, given our visit was on a weekend (St. Patty’s Day to be more precise), it was quite crowded. It seemed a bit understaffed, which made it difficult on waitresses.Overall, the food was good and everything was correct. We had even requested some substitutions.

First time ever that I have been disappointed with the quality of our meals at any Bob Evans. Multiple issues today. I don't need to hear the servers conversations about how they were fired and hired back. Servers deserve breaks to sit and eat their meals, not carry around plates and grab bites behind the counter in front of the pass. Both our meals came out lukewarm with obvious signs they had been sitting under a heat lamp waiting for some time. Our eggs had began to harden and get the plastic look from sitting out after cooking. My home fries had obviously been left in the fryer too long. They came out dark russett and beginning to taste burnt. The biscuits crumbled at the slightest touch and could not be sliced or buttered. My cashier was too busy having conversations with her co workers to Ben give more than a rehearsed canned conversation or thanks for dining. Though mid day after church, the dining room is as under half full. If the quality of the food remains the same, we will never return if we give them a second chance. The only bright spot was our server who was courteous and friendly. Do better

We were surprised by the quality of the food. In the past it was very good, and actually brought us back. This time food was very sub-par. Neither of us ate more than half of our food. The hash browns were overcooked like they had a lot of them sitting in a grill for a long period of time. Not good at all.

So this restaurant's been my go-to for several years however yesterday once again, I was severely let down. Here was my problem. The order was delivered in a timely manner but was incorrect I requested toast instead of biscuits and gravy; but I still wanted the gravy. I asked for hash browns and received them undercooked greasy. When I brought it up the gravy was not brought out the wait staff replied it wasn't part of the order, I then asked her to add it as a side (it was part of the homestead breakfast) The gravy that was brought out had all the old congealed fat scaped from the pot intermixed, it was very grotesque.

Order the thanksgiving meal. They forgot my cranberry relish and pumpkin pie was terrible. Very disappointed..
Thanksgiving dinner was nasty. Rolls, raw, turkey very thin and hardly any, stuffing was sticky and more like pudding and pumpkin pie was dried out, sticky and gritty.

Already posted about being unsat couldn't eat the fish crust was nasty figured I would eat the biscuits and gravy and they couldn't even put a lid on the gravy bowl!!!

I’m not one to EVER write a review but wanted to give props because expectations were exceeded. My Mom requested one of their Thanksgiving Platters today and so I obliged. Not only was the order 100% accurate, the food was actually really good. A pleasant surprise, indeed. Good job, BE!
