Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Good smoothies. Short wait time.

I’ve never been to one before thought I’d try it out, but there is lettuce in my açaí bowl, feels very chaotic and careless. Would rather make smoothies at home.

i sat there and waited to get my order take. and they looked at me like i was crazy

I ordered an 8 dollar smoothie for my daughter waited 25 minutes while order was made

This place had all blenders going off

For about 20 mins straight

I watched this from the corner

Dash in came in
Normal patrons that had been waiting for food getting upset already

People came in after us ordered and left in that time

I finally brought this up to Alyssa maybe was the girls name
And this was once no blenders were running

I said to her
No drinks are being made currently
I pointed to a drink on the counter that had been sitting for same time with the name Owen on it

I explained someone took my daughters order by mistake and ask if she could make hers

She gave me a deer in headlights look and said
I called this name out

To which I pointed to drink on counter and stated right and someone took my daughter drink

To which she had deers in headlights look and then went to speak to manager for another few mins to explain which really just topped it off

Mmmm, there were gnats in my food, the service takes ridiculously long, and I have witness the managers being extremely rude to their employees. Don’t waste your time going there! 0 stars

There was 6 workers, no one would take our order. We ordered finally and a group of 3 people came in and ordered than they got there drinks before us. And the staff said if they didn’t like there drinks they would remake it. They were extremely slow and rude

I live right next to this Tropical Smoothie location and I go there all the time, I'd say 1-2 times a week. The servers have always been very friendly and efficient. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait when it's busy, but the food and smoothies are made fresh so I'm okay with that. My smoothies never seem like they're watered down, and I guess I'm just not picky if a sandwich is cut a little messy or a salad isn't arranged artfully; I''m going to eat it so it doesn't have to be perfect.

This location is just so inconsistent. I have to come and find out who’s working first to know if my food or drinks are gonna turn out horrible or not. Which is frustrating enough itself. If a smoothie is a bit hard to blend don’t keep adding water add more pomegranate syrup or blueberry depending on the drink someone gets anything but 4-5 extra pumps of water on top of water. And now my drink lacks Flavor and I’m down almost $10

The staff in the evenings need to learn how to make bowls. Look how it is thrown together. Asked and paid for extra bananas…look what I got, a total of 7. Better yet, look at my daughter’s bowl. She only got 4. Tropical Smoothie you need to do better with employee training.

The chorizo wrap is so good!! Pair it w either a bahama mama or island green? don’t ever take it off the menu !

Imagine opening your food and this being the sight… I guess I should’ve opened it inside the restaurant. Do better this is unacceptable
