The crab & Oyster place was clean, very nice personnel. Only thing that happened when I ordered live crabs they put the littlest lightest crabs at the bottom of the paper bag and then put six bigger crabs on top to hide the rest on. I made a phone call and spoke with Karen. She was very sorry this happened and offered a new 12 crabs which were very good

My wife and I were in town for the weekend and decided to take some crabs back home. So we stop by Choptank on our way home. It was first time there and I have to say we were very pleased with their prices and the crabs were delicious.

Went to leave and my car would not start. We had 2 1/2 hours yet to go to get home (Lancaster Pa.) and Mason helped us by charging my car battery. Thank you for taking time to help my wife and I on a busy Sunday. Young man you are a great business man! We will be back. God bless you.

We purchased Lump and Backfin Lump from here and it was excellent! No shells in Backfin Lump and only 1 very small shell in Lump. It's the cleanest crabmeat we have gotten from anywhere. Absolutely LOVE this place! Thank you Mason, your the best.

I drove almost an hour and half from Lewes, DE on Labor Day Sunday to get a bushel and half of #1's and it was well worth the drive. The crabs were steamed perfectly and not one bad crab in the bunch. The staff and owner were very friendly and the place was super busy. I would definitely make the drive over again for crabs. Also the seafood in the case looked really really good.

I live in Lewes, DE and checked on prices of crabs locally. I thought they were high and they were coming from NC. We wanted MD crabs. It was worth the hour and 20 minute drive to get them at Choptank River Crab. Got one and half bushels of #1’s and not one bad crab in the bunch. Would definitely go back. Friendly staff and owner and clean.

got a bushel of #1’s today to share with the fam. they were big, flavorful, and was enough to feed 8 people! My dad highly recommends this place and now so do I! can’t beat the customer service and they have the best price in town. and did I say MARYLAND crabs too. thank you again!
