“I’ve been coming here to eat for quite a while. Whether it’s dining in for date night or getting take out, I’m NEVER disappointed. I don’t usually write reviews but something happened today that really made me smile and I feel like I have to share. I got my usual for takeout last night (chicken chettinad) which I hugely recommend. Super aromatic and flavorful, the chicken is always cooked perfectly as well as the rice. Although last night my dish was on the saltier side and It tasted different than usual. I sincerely hate complaining to restaurants but having worked in kitchens most of my career, I know that feedback is welcomed as long as you’re kind about it. I waited until the next afternoon to give them a call and let them know since it was pretty late by the time I had sat down to eat the night prior. The lovely owner answered the phone and when I explained the situation she immediately offered to replace it no problem! It might seem like a small gesture to some but it surprised me in the best way. I wasn’t trying to get a free meal at all but as I’m sitting here enjoying the fresh dish, I can’t help but feel honored to support such a wonderful business. They’ve got a forever customer here. “The food was prepared very quickly. I ordered out on a Monday evening for dinner. The Philly pizza was good, although, it should come with some marinara or pizza sauce. The BBQ wings were fine. The ole bay fries were straight cut and good af. The cheese steak was sufficient enough. I did enjoy the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. I cannot wait to return to try the more authentic Italian dishes. Keep up the good work and thank you. No pictures were taken.Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant is limited. There are other parking options nearby.”

“What a great place. I stopped at 900 Friday morning and the place was packed. The single girl waiting on everyone rolled them out. I got my breakfast really quick and it was delicious.”

“We found Ava’s last year during a trip to Cambridge. Not realizing they had moved around the corner from their previous location, was a bit of a surprise. However, new location same great food and service. So happy to have found this local gem! Pizza is excellent, spaghetti and meatballs for the kids were a hit, and their local beer selection is nice! Highly recommend Ava’s for anyone who is in town or visiting the Hyatt Chesapeake, looking for close but great alternative.”

“This place is fantastic! Food and drink menus are inventive, fun, and gourmet but prices are normal. Small but well-curated bottle shop and perfect music/atmosphere. A joy to sit at the bar or in the picture window sofa.”

“Food was good! We got the seafood combo and everything tasted pretty fresh and fried well. Cornbread was delicious and on the sweeter side which I like. Service was quick and the lady in the front brought the food out to us.”

“Best cocktails ever! Great drinks menu. Bartender (Casey I think) was wonderful. Husbands gumbo was delicious. I ordered the buratta salad. 3 ingredients, arugula, burrito and heirloom cherry tomatoes. Not a tomato to be found. Possibly the most bland dish I have ever ordered out. But atmosphere and drinks made it worth the visit!”

“Just the best Diner on the Eastern Shore. Do yourself a favor and go to The Cambridge Diner! You won't be sorry. They have the best "Hot Roast Turkey Sandwich" anywhere. Get the gravy on the fries, too, or their good old mashed potatoes! Yummy! ?”

“From the exterior view, there was not much to look at. Inside, the facility was clean. The food was unexpectedly good. We ordered the gordita and camarones a la Mexicana. There was a little heat, but nothing overpowering. If you like extra heat, the red sauce provided on the side is what you want. I only wish I could have enjoyed a cerveza with the meal.”

“Cool spot on Main Street for good beer. Food sizes are alittle small but good flavor. I would recommend the steak sandwich. They charge an extra $1 for their RAR sauce which isn’t worth it. Pretty much mayo with some seasoning. Also, take out beer is expensive being $8/can.”

“Yummmm! We celebrated our friends birthday here and they made it a special day to remember with a little treat for her. Good food for a great price. Staff was very friendly and kind. More vegetarian options would be great!”

“Excellent food & friendly service. We arrived after touring a nearby park, at an odd hour (around 3:45pm), but they were on their game. We were seated quickly; we ordered the potato croquettes to share (on special), and I got Pad Thai while my wife had the Massaman (sp?) Curry w/chicken. The croquettes were perfectly fried on the outside and delightfully fluffy and savory on the inside. So delicious. My Pad Thai was filled with fresh shrimp, very plump, and the perfect blend of spices. Best pad Thai this side of Bangkok! I ordered mild but could've gone up to medium (now I know!). My wife enjoyed her curry with a frothy coconut broth and whole peanuts. We only wished there was music playing while we ate because it was awkwardly quiet... until we got our check; the music started playing at that point! (They must've read our minds lol.) If we are back in town again when they're open, we will definitely stop for another great meal!”

“Nice spot to grab some tasty sandwiches or soup. Everything was fresh and good. You order at the counter and they bring out the food to your table when it is ready. Got a chicken salad on ciabatta and a Rueben sandwich. Quick service and iced tea was so good too.”

“Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. Took a few coworkers there for an outing. They all rave about the chessie burger to this day. I suggest going with the triple because the double is that good. Huge fan of every beer on tap of course”

“Just stopped here on my way back to Annapolis and the service was outstanding. The staff is very friendly food was ready quick, hot and delicious just as advertised. My granddaughter says instead of a five star review we should give them 1,000 star review. She’s very happy with how she was treated inside by the friendly staff. It was all laughter and smiles. Definitely recommend you stopping in and hopefully you get the same crew that we got.”
