“Just stayed at the Oxford Inn and had an amazing experience. The owners Scott and Jeanne were fantastic. Scott even went way beyond for us and gave a short private tour of Oxford in his car. I am having knee surgery soon and didn’t want me to walk that far! The Inn is convenient and charming. Relaxed environment to just get away. Thank you for making our experience so great! “I was able to take advantage of their Valentine's Day ordering, and my husband was soooo surprised with his Salted Caramel Ice Cream!!!The best purchase was the Valentine's Cake they offered, and with a limit of 20 available, I was one of the lucky ones. The cake was sublime! It had luscious layers of various ice creams, and the hidden gem was the gooey fudge section, almost like hot fudge, minus the hot!!! The best $40 I've spent in a very long time ( as an Instacart Shopper, it took me 2 orders to pay for it, but well worth the extra effort it took me)!!!I'm definitely looking forward to their spring opening. I highly recommend that if you're in the area of Oxford, MD, it is a MUST STOP!! They also have a sister eatery just across the street, Oxford Social Cafe. I have not eaten their but it looks like a very nice hometown place to enjoy. Both locations will invoke memories of a time long gone. “My Ruben was exceptional, and the shrimp sandwich and cheese steak I saw on other plates were the same. Waitress was there and seemed to know what we needed when we needed it. The room atmosphere was rustic and made you feel completely at home.”

“Anthony's is a new Italian restaurant in the area. The menu offers quite a selection of dishes. I tried a standard meat pasta dish and it was very good. The salad was also very good. An exception was the bread and their own olive oil/butter spread - they could have done much better on both. My one complaint would be the chairs. They were very uncomfortable, and it really was difficult to enjoy the dinner. Also, the table height was off - too high. So, good food, but uncomfortable seats.”

“I’ve been coming here to eat for quite a while. Whether it’s dining in for date night or getting take out, I’m NEVER disappointed. I don’t usually write reviews but something happened today that really made me smile and I feel like I have to share. I got my usual for takeout last night (chicken chettinad) which I hugely recommend. Super aromatic and flavorful, the chicken is always cooked perfectly as well as the rice. Although last night my dish was on the saltier side and It tasted different than usual. I sincerely hate complaining to restaurants but having worked in kitchens most of my career, I know that feedback is welcomed as long as you’re kind about it. I waited until the next afternoon to give them a call and let them know since it was pretty late by the time I had sat down to eat the night prior. The lovely owner answered the phone and when I explained the situation she immediately offered to replace it no problem! It might seem like a small gesture to some but it surprised me in the best way. I wasn’t trying to get a free meal at all but as I’m sitting here enjoying the fresh dish, I can’t help but feel honored to support such a wonderful business. They’ve got a forever customer here. “The Grilled Oyster made me write this review!!!I came here 5 months ago, had a fantastic experience, but I’m terrible at adding reviews (my review count is small vs. some other top contributors).I’m on the eastern shore of MD again and just had a rather mediocre grilled oyster at a different place which instantly triggered the fond memories of Ava’s Grilled Oysters ???Long winded way of saying… try these amazing Grilled Oysters! And the pizza and everything else. This place is amazing!”

“Stopped in there after leaving the Giant grocery. Super helpful since I really wasn't sure what to order. Got the chicken gyro with white sauce and some cucumbers and onions. Super tasty. Enough for 2nd meal.”

“The food was prepared very quickly. I ordered out on a Monday evening for dinner. The Philly pizza was good, although, it should come with some marinara or pizza sauce. The BBQ wings were fine. The ole bay fries were straight cut and good af. The cheese steak was sufficient enough. I did enjoy the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. I cannot wait to return to try the more authentic Italian dishes. “Just stopped into Blue Heron coffee today and boy am I glad I did! I was in the area from Pasadena and I've been following this coffee shop on Facebook for a while but hadn't been in. First of all, the friendliest people! A laid back atmosphere and the very best hot chocolate I think I've ever had! Wasnt expecting the caramel but it was a nice surprise. I'm in that area frequently and I will be back! Besides, when I finish the bag of coffee I purchased I will need more!”

“Very clean place w/ delicious food! We ordered the crepe (which has a lovely coconut flavor), Pho Tai (large to share), grilled pork over steamed rice, and a banh mi sandwich. Everything was so good! We just came back from a camping trip at Assateague Island and will definitely consider stopping by here in the future if we come to the area for camping again!”

“Had a reservation for valentine's day. Waitress presented my date with a red rose. A special menu for the occasion. She even filled my date's request for a salad that was not on the special menu. Food was well presented and delicious. Waitress was considerate and friendly. This was our third visit and will continue to be a choice selection when we want a special dinner. Highly recommended!”
