We found Ava’s last year during a trip to Cambridge. Not realizing they had moved around the corner from their previous location, was a bit of a surprise. However, new location same great food and service. So happy to have found this local gem! Pizza is excellent, spaghetti and meatballs for the kids were a hit, and their local beer selection is nice! Highly recommend Ava’s for anyone who is in town or visiting the Hyatt Chesapeake, looking for close but great alternative.
I'm staying at The Hyatt Resort, and I always check out best food in the area. Ava's did not disappoint. I had a chicken ceasar salad that was the best I ever had. My husband had a Mediterranean pie. We took food home also. The meatball sub was everything. Our server was a sweet girl named Cassidy. She is a Marsha Brady lookalike. She'll have to look that up. Lol. Outstanding pizza, service, and the spinach dip with crispy pasta was delicious as was the pizza. Bonus: “Major Award” Leg Lamp at the bar from A Christmas Story. Great service.
