What a hidden gem ! Very cool & welcoming atmosphere! Our meals were flavorful & phenomenal!
The beef rib special = chef’s kiss ! We will be back!
We took a chance at 4:30 and were able to sit at the raw bar for dinner. Best decision ever to walk over and check on availability! Dinner was absolutely delicious and everything had a little unexpected twist. The zucchini was so lightly cooked, paired with a smoky chorizo and golden raisins and served chilled - perfect flavors and a wonderful elevation to a simple summer vegetable. The sourdough bread was great to soak up every bit of flavor from the roasted oyster appetizer....read full review
The Double Cheeseburger was one of the best I've ever had! It arrived hot, juicy, and cooked exactly the way a great burger should be. The miso-dijonnaise sauce was delicious and added a unique flavor, while the bun held everything together perfectly. The crispy fries were a great complement. You can tell the patty is made from high quality beef and prepared with care. I'll definitely be back.

Ruse is a charming restaurant with a beautiful aesthetic and exceptional cuisine. The oysters, roasted chicken, ravioli, and martinis are highly recommended. Guests have enjoyed delicious meals celebrating special occasions, with standout dishes like short rib, shrimp aguachile tostada, and fried corn ribs being must-tries. The outdoor patio is perfect for warmer months, and the minimalist decor creates a warm ambiance. The raw bar options are wonderful, especially the Maine oysters and grilled/baked oysters. The burger with addictive frites and scallops in pea puree are delicious mains. The staff are attentive and provide great service throughout the meal. A highlight is the decadent Caviar and Tater Tots dish, with Russian Caviar and Creme Fraiche. Recently, guests have praised the endive salad and mussels, especially the broth, along with the trout with brown butter caper sauce, which was described as off the charts special. The service remains phenomenal, with staff helping guests navigate the incredible menu. Overall, Ruse is a beautiful restaurant connected to the Wildset Hotel, offering a great vibe for any occasion, with top-notch food and service, making it a must-visit spot in St. Michaels.
