“Wow, just wow. And not just because of the happy hour specials! Robert at the bar is an asset to Ruse. Always on point, engaging conversation, next-level knowledge of the drinks and the menu, wasn't afraid to make recommendations when asked - and every one of his menu recommendations were culinary delights. Mid-day martini (dirty with vodka and three olives, thank you very much for the bespoke options), anchovy toast (holy flavor and fresh baguette, Batman!), Chesapeake Bay oysters (raw, fresh and delicious), roasted oysters (welcome to your new addiction), little gem salad, and grilled prawns. I can't wait to return here for another fantastic dining experience. Pro tip - Make a reservation or arrive right when they open and be open to sitting at the bar or outside.“

“My daughter and I were visiting St. Michael's for the first time on October 22nd; we went to The Galley for breakfast. We were seated upstairs and all went fine overall except my order. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito for $15, hold the meat (bacon and sausage) as I can't do red meat. The waitress suggested I could have crab meat instead if I wanted. That sounded good, so I agreed. The waitress didn't mention an extra charge so I didn't ask, figuring it would be nominal if anything since she didn't say anything about it. I certainly would not have minded a few extra dollars for crab meat, but I was shocked when I got the bill and saw she charged me $42.00 for the burrito! She never said a word to me about any extra charge, let alone charging me an extra $27.00. She dropped off the bill and went on her way. I went downstairs to find her and speak to her about it, but I could not ever find her, nor wait long enough as my daughter's baby was getting very fussy so we had to leave.“

“Enjoyed lunch here. The seafood was very nice, with great oysters on the half shell. The crab cakes were full of good tasting chunky bits of crab, but there was not a lot of binding agent, so they tended to fall apart. That's always a balancing act between too much and too little. These were not the in top tier of what I've had in Maryland. Another issue was bathroom up a narrow stairway. This was really hard on my elderly mother, so if you have disabilities, be aware.“
