Can't get a more local experience than this. Walk up to the window and get yourself some fresh local crabs! Call ahead to hear the specials and order so you don't have to stand around and wait while they steam them. They sell paper, wallets, and tshirts too!

As the owner of a seafood store I have made hundreds, maybe thousands, of crab cakes over the past 15 years. I have used many different brands of MD crab meat and Epicure far exceeds any other brand.
It is by far the best tasting and cleanest crab meat which makes it easier and faster to make my crab cakes.
I solely use your jumbo lump and lump crab meat for all of my crab cakes I make now.

This company is amazing…..went to visit today after ordering online for a while…… the staff was super friendly and very helpful……it was a 2 hour drive for my husband and I but well worth the drive…..they even recommended a place to eat while in Cambridge….. the food there was great…… if you want crab meat this is the place to buy from.

2024. Won’t go anywhere else to buy crabmeat and drive from PA just to get it. Excellent!! 2025 UPDATE: What the heck has changed in 1year?? I’ve been driving a long way for years and enjoyed the crabs. I bought 1/2 bushel of Wye River premium crabs and 1/2 bushel Choptanks. Both were light, paper thin and not worth picking. The seasoning seems different - not JO nor Old Bay and so salty ruined the taste and burned in an open finger cut. And who is steaming the crabs? Mushy inside. I’ve definitely had better from Clayton’s and not coming back. Only good thing I can say is crabmeat might still be ok, but I didn’t buy any this year.

I found this gem a few weeks ago when touring around the Cambridge area. I stop and purchased a pound of fresh lump crab meat and it was extraordinarily delicious. So much so that about a week or so later I drove an hour and a half to go back and purchase four more pounds that I shared with friends. Now, all I think about is, when can I go again.
I give them five stars for the quality of their product but also for the courtesies extended to me during each of my two visits.
I recommend that you give them a try but, only if you enjoy the freshest, high quality seafood at a very reasonable price.
