Took reservation but family of 6 left out in the cold. We called 10 days in advance and made a reservation for a Saturday night at 6. They took the name, time, etc. When we showed up, the whole place was closed. Nearby restaurants warned us that the place has been very inconsistent in opening. My 90 yr old father was very upset to need to find a new place for dinner at the last minute, luckily another restaurant came thru at the last minute…saving out night!

The food was good but the lunch menu was limited. The crab cake sandwich was amazing! The crab bread bowl was really good but most of the bread was tough and chewy. The booths on the bar side are set high up and the backing of the booth seats were uncomfortable to sit in. Overall it was good. We’ve eaten here numerous times and have always enjoyed the fine food and dining.

I had a lovely dinner at Jimmie & Sook's this past Saturday. The single-fried oysters were delectable with just the perfect flash-fried touch. The whipped potatoes were creamy and tasty. And the vegetables really blew me away. I'm not sure how they were prepared exactly, but the zucchini and squash had a deep complex almost smoky taste that easily made them the best I'd ever had. And the Brussels sprouts continue to be my favorite appetizer with the chipotle crema sauce adding just the right touch. The service and the drinks were amazingly fast, friendly, and on point. We'll be back!

Stopped for a first visit. Recommended by a friend. Choose today's special. A fried cod sandwich. I was informed it was breaded on sight and was fresh. It was far from it. Preformed sticks of unknown species of fish. Very disappointed.

Food was awesome. Crab cakes yummy. Salmon was just the best. Service...kind of slow in a good way. Time to relax and enjoy the juke box. Just a nice place to have a date...many times...lol

The food was delicious, but they must have been short-staffed or disorganized. Our order took much too long. The food WAS delicious though. I wanted to blame the slow service on having a large group, but we've gotten much better service elsewhere, so kind of a bummer.

We were two couples in Cambridge to follow the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad. A very sobering undertaking, but glad we did it. We had dinner at Jimmie and Sooks. I think there was a little confusion with the staff as whom was going to take care of us. That got settled. I think the biggest issue was that I ordered seltzer with lemon and lime and I got tonic water with the same. We all had oysters. They were presented beautifully and tasted great. I had the 'award winning' cream of crab. I see why it won--the best I've ever had. It was OMG good. All of the apps we had were good--we ordered apps rather than a meal. I also had the fried clams--maybe a little less on the french fries. But it was good. The mac and cheese was good, Our friends had salads after the oysters. I think she was the owner who came over to see how we were doing and helped with the dinner. The food was great. The music in the background was great. A good time was had by all. Go and have some fun. There was no Covid check. Folks were not wearing masks.
