We stayed at this hotel last night for my birthday. Let me start by saying the hotel is beautiful and not a detail is spared. The staff were so friendly and upgraded our room because it was my birthday. We got a suite, which was breathless. We stayed at the bar most of the night. The bartenders were wonderful. I didn’t get her name but she is from Russia if I remember correctly. Great service. We will be back!!

Had a bowl of cream of crab. There was a lot of crab, but also a lot of shell. I’ve never had cream of crab with shell in every bite.

I’m so torn on this review. The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are clean and lovely and there is so much to do for kids and families. However, the food service is beyond terrible. Today at the tiki bar I ordered a chicken quesadilla and wings and sat at the bar waiting. I am not exaggerating when an hour and 45 minutes later I still didn’t have my food. I asked the bartender who had come on relatively recently to when I asked and he goes “I am slammed right now can you go over to where the kitchen is and flag someone down?” I literally thought I was being punked. Then at dinner at micheners tonight, we waited TWO hours for our dinner to arrive for our party of two adults and two kids. Credit to our rockstar waitress Gerri who we loved, our meal was comped, but still after the lunch experience I’m sensing a pattern with the the dining experience. After speaking with other guests this appears To be an issue and others are experiencing the same thing. For the entire restaurant tonight there was only two waitstaff working (Friday night in summer). Completely disappointed with our experience given the full resort like atmosphere they’re trying to create.

I really wanted to like this place. The view when you walked in is gorgeous. I had an accessible room because my daughter was in a wheelchair. There was an overwhelming smell of bleach upon walking in. We had to keep the windows open. Our phone didn’t work. An engineer came and thought he fixed it but it still didn’t work. We called (from our cells) to get housekeeping to pick up our dishes but no one came AND by morning everyone put their junk by our door after we were told to leave dishes outside the door. I had to maneuver my daughters wheelchair around this. There were beautiful weddings Friday adman’s Saturday night but unfortunately I could not get my daughter’s chair through the gray. She missed both nights events. I sent a letter and the response was “too bad - come back and we’ll do better”. Customer service (Manager - Logan of Housekeeping gets a zero). No one wants to know you’ve been heard and they do better - for the next persons. This is a great location but I would not recommend or go back. I just think they’re out to make a quick buck and they overbook. However it does still take away from the paying customers experience.

Really disappointed...instant iced tea, cold flatbread clearly out of a box, etc. I expected much better.

The property had poor customer service from the check in process. Asked if there were any rooms available for upgrade and receptionist who was the manger did not even acknowledge t request. Asked if both rooms could be close and was told they will not accommodate the request since it was not in the original reservation. Came to breakfast for the early bird and did not get the discount. Waitress was rude and explained had to be done before 8:30 for any discounts. Stayed at many Hyatt around the world and this was ranked as the worst.

Fantastic and would do it again! From arrival to departure, this has proven to be one of the most enjoyable vacations ever!!! The staff is sensational and the accommodations were lovely! Can not ask for more! We had a lovely time and the food was also delicious! Best eggs I've had in years!! The coffee could use a little upgrade, but that is the only thing! Everything else was superb!

I thought everything was beautiful! The room was very clean. The staff and front desk very nice. Not sure why others stated the staff was rude. Check in/out was a breeze. Yes, everything is overpriced, but so is every other place. What you are really paying for is the beautiful view. Will definitely be back!

The room was nice and clean with a great view, but the staff in the restaurants and on the grounds were horrid. Every time we asked a question they either mumbled the answer or acted like the question was putting them out. We were ignored after being seated at the restaurants and after about 15 minutes of watching them help others, we had to ask if they could get us water and take our orders. My four year old even noticed that as the only Black family in the restaurant we were the only ones the staff weren't waiting on. The bathrooms on the grounds were also fairly gross - flies everywhere and as though they hadn't been cleaned in a week. There were dogs barking all night and when we complained - again, the staff acted like we asked them for a pint of blood.

My family and I visit this property every year for Labor Day. The visit was a perfect family getaway. Hyatt planned activities for the entire week that included movie night at the pool, BBQs, water sports, cookie decorating. The staff and service was superb. Really great holiday weekend.

Everything was middle of the road at this place, from front desk check in to food to activities. Everything was inflated cost wise, slow service, and a very mediocre experience. This place could be so much better, but their price point makes this place inaccessible for many, especially the activities. Trying to change five star prices for a three star property.

I would recommend this hotel. It was immaculately clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were well-kept and included 3 pools, mini golf, and many extras. Was right on the Bay. I would highly recommend this hotel. Food is pricey. There is a great diner called Chesapeake Diner a few miles away that give a lot of food for very reasonable prices. Would stay again.

No one was at the entrance when we arrived. Needed to look for luggage carts. Check in was a disaster. We had 5 rooms booked. None of our reservation requests were met. It took over an hour to finally get a water view. This was on Thursday before the Labor Day weekend Trash cans around the.area were not emptied especially near the outside tables where people ate outdoors. Maintenance needs to be improved greatly Breakfast buffet was not very good There is no supervision on the golf course. People were walking on the fairway with no regard to the golfers. Construction was going on as my family was playing The tennis courts need resurfacing. The asphalt layer has come through. Erica and her partner at the pool area are terrific. Thanks for listening.

Excellent facility and service. Calm variety of settings for groupings outside and inside. Pools well maintained and diverse. Golf is spectacular as set up for a wide range of capabilities. Easy access to Black Water Refuge. Excellent biking.

We have eaten or had drinks at Michener's Library within the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay on three separate occasions. We love the dining room and the views of the bay from this establishment. The service is great, and the food is solid as well. This is the best place on property to grab a drink during your stay.
