The idea of having small shop is great idea. However, to keep customers your employees need to be aware of the energy they offer. Nasty energy when I went to order, seemed annoyed I wanted to order. We just moved here was excited about supporting small businesses. However I felt rushed and unwanted. I thought it was just bad day, so we came back second round today. Same energy with same attitudes. Such shame. Both days were not busy, didn’t seem overwhelmed with orders.

Rise Up Coffee in Cambridge always delivers that cozy, laid-back morning vibe. I stopped in just for a coffee and ended up staying for breakfast—and I’m glad I did.
I ordered the breakfast burrito, banana split yogurt bowl, and two smoothies: the strawberry matcha and the banana coffee chocolate. I grabbed a seat at the corner counter with a view of the road, soaking in the relaxed atmosphere and full-on coffee morning energy.
The burrito was heartier than expected—packed with perfectly scrambled eggs, avocado, and potatoes. It was a lot for one person, so we shared. The smoothies were, as always, spot on. And the banana split yogurt bowl? Deliciously good—fresh, balanced, and satisfying.
Rise Up continues to be a go-to for chill mornings, good coffee, and unexpectedly great breakfast.

I gave every all five stars because the food and servings and everything else is so amazing. The avocado on top not too much too little just enough and very crispy too which is I love it a lot because the bread is so crispy. It’s like eating chips lol. it’s the perfect breakfast meal of the day.

I was part of helping out my late best friends father in organizing a Golf Tournament this past weekend in his honor and was asked to have rise up do the breakfast for the golfers. It was slightly short notice on my end of things asking Carley (the manager of the Cambridge location) to provide enough coffee and pastries for 130 people but she was so exceptionally helpful and did all she could to make it happen for us! Carley and the whole staff were so kind and generous from helping us load the car to making sure we had all we needed down to every last detail. Thank you Carley and crew!
We were craving coffee and some hearty bites on our way back to the hotel from Assateague Island. Rise Up Coffee came just at the right moment! Awesome food (served until 3.00pm) and fabulous coffee. Definitely coming back
