From the exterior view, there was not much to look at. Inside, the facility was clean. The food was unexpectedly good. We ordered the gordita and camarones a la Mexicana. There was a little heat, but nothing overpowering. If you like extra heat, the red sauce provided on the side is what you want. I only wish I could have enjoyed a cerveza with the meal.

The food is amazing! As a Texas kid I can appreciate good Mexican food and this is some of the best I've ever had. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is great. This is a great neighborhood cafe with amazing food and fantastic service!

Great food for better price. We're visiting from NYC and this is by far better than anything in NYC (low bar, sure, but notwithstanding). I got four tacos, which in hindsight, I should have gotten three. They are filling because they are filled. Service was quick and, while you may wait a wee bit longer than an unreasonable expectation, I'm assuming because the food came out piping hot and is made to order. They even have some flavorful homemade spices to try. One of those gems that makes you wonder why it was established here and what's the backstory. Very good.

I'm from Southern California and am hard to please when it comes to Mexican food on the East Coast. This place was great. The tacos were delicious and the salsas that came with the chips were very flavorful. The chips were a tad overcooked, but I'd definitely come back.
