The fish was good, although it could use a little salt. I'm not sure what is in the crab balls, but it tastes a bit vinergary (not good). The potatoe salad was pretty good, but the green beans were awful. However, the service is fantastic. The staff members treat customers like family. ??
I had the fried catfish dinner and my nephew had the fried whiting fish dinner. The fish was very good for both. There was an issue with the collard greens, but I believe it was an issue of trying to save some possibly scorched greens that they rinsed which left no flavor. They should have re-seasoned the greens before serving them. The green beans were very flavorful. I took the leftover green bean juice and used it for the greens, added some hot sauce and saved and ate my...
Terrible customer service. The lady at the register was on her phone the whole time while taking my order arguing with her boyfriend. The fish and shrimp were good. The collards were terrible, no flavor. The potato salad was decent. The tables were sticky and dirty. I definitely will not be going back there. I'll find another fish spot.
