We LOVE going here. The food is very authentic Jamaican cuisine and the owners are just as authentic and passionate about their service. It's a close family business so we love to support. It's all delicious and made with love. Would highly recommend, plus the pricing is very reasonable, with large portion sizes.

Love Jas & Fam. They are very customer friendly and go out of their way to provide great service. The food is delish, especially the ox tail and brown stew chicken. Also my goto for sorrel and black cake, in season. Go try now for some good Jamaican food.

This has to be the worst and unauthentic Jamaican food I’ve ever had before in my life. I got the jerk chicken and it was horrible. Tastes like bad BBQ chicken with no flavor or spices. Will never return. The best JA food is in DC/MD

**0 stars** This is NOT a Caribbean restaurant. I ordered jerk chicken and curry chicken and both were disgusting. Jerk was basically hot sauce and bbq, no Jamaican flavor at all. Rice was hard and not cooked thoroughly. Curry chicken was dry with no flavor. I also got a jerk chicken patty and it was basically burned. DO NOT GO HERE. You’re better off going to Maryland or DC for Caribbean food. Never again.

This restaurant reminds me of my mom's kitchen. Very caring with great food and conversations.

Delicious food, quick service, and reasonable prices! This was our first time and we’ll definitely be back. We had curry chicken, oxtail, rice & peas, mac & cheese, plantain, rum cake, and 3 of their fresh juices. 3 people in our party and none of us have complaints and there’s nothing we wouldn’t order again. If you’re in the area, definitely try this restaurant!!!

I wanted to buy some Jamaican Chicken soup which can be very hard to get. Jas & Fam Carribean accommodated me and made the soup. I purchased not only the soup, but also Stew Chicken with rice and peas, cabbage with a side of plantain. The food taste amazing and I would definitely go again, and refer anyone who wants Jamaican food to go here. Definitely check out this restaurant you won't regret it.

The food was not ready, had to wait past the 30 minutes they originally told us it would take. The food was unflavorful and not tender. Oxtail was gross and gave three of us diarrhea. Disappointing that the food was also being served out of a boba tea shop.

Spending $25 dollars for 3 pieces of oxtail is crazy!! The oxtail was so salty and lacked flavor. I tried to be a supporter but this is so disheartening. I bought salted codfish fritters and they were SOAKED in oil and basically inedible. Will not be returning.

My recent visit to this restaurant was a vibrant culinary journey with some of the best Jamaican dishes I have ever tried. 🌴🍽️
I tried so many things so please bare with me in this lengthy review! lol

Curried Goat 🐐🍛
The curried goat was a standout. Tender chunks of goat simmered to perfection in a rich, flavorful curry sauce. The blend of spices had the right amount of heat and earthiness, and each bite was succulent. It paired perfectly with the rice and peas. This dish is a MUST TRY.

Oxtails 🍖
The oxtails were fall-off-the-bone tender, cooked in a deep, savory brown gravy that screamed comfort. It was full of flavor and very indulgent. The gravy seeped into the rice and peas, creating a delicious mix of textures and tastes. This dish is a MUST TRY 🤤

Cabbage 🥬
The sautéed cabbage was simple but effective. It has a slight crunch (which I loved) and it added a refreshing contrast to the heavier dishes. 🌿

Coco Bread 🍞
This was my first time having coco bread. It was soft, buttery, and slightly sweet. I tried with with the beef patty in between and it was lovely. 😋

Beef Patty 🥟
Flaky on the outside and packed with spiced ground beef on the inside. The golden crust was well-baked, and the filling had the right balance of spice & savoriness.🌶️👌

Jerk Chicken Wings 🍗🔥
The jerk chicken wings were smoky and are ADDICTIVE. The owner spoke about how she mixes the sauce daily and so it can be very complex depending on the style she is going for. These wings packed a punch that will leave you wanting more. 👏🏽

Coconut Cookie 🍪🥥
To finish off the meal, I tried the coconut cookie. This treat was crumbly, sweet, and rich with coconut flavor. It was the perfect bite to round out the meal, offering a hint of tropical sweetness without being too heavy. 🍬🌴

Overall, I cannot wait to return to try more dishes! The owner was so kind to let us try some samples. I hope things improve for her business and she continues to thrive. ♥️
