After some less than stellar Chinese food locally, I hadn't had any for a long time. Then we celebrated Lunar New Year with friends with takeout from this restaurant and everything was delicious! I am now obsessed with their sesame balls that include peanuts. So good. And the woman who took the order could not have been sweeter. I actually have been a long time customer of mamas taste but something seems to be up over there today. Today I got my go to order of general tso chicken and… the chicken really wasn’t quite right. Completely rubbered out on the edges and sort of flaky on the inside. Really disappointing for not a cheap meal.Lo mein and soup were great! This small Chinese take out place is very quick at serving up their food. We got the shrimp fried rice as well as shrimp lo mein and they were both delicious. We will be back to try other options.
