“David is the reason I had a great meal and experience. When I saw that the menu had changed and asked about vegan options, I was disappointed. David went way out of his way to make sure I didn’t have a boring, steamed veggie meal. He double checked all ingredients with the chef and I had the stir fried Buddha’s Feast with tofu. “This is a great affordable option for Chinese food in the area! The space is bright and relatively open, the staff is kind and very efficient, and the food came out very quickly. While it is great for the price point, the food wasn't very memorable. The yibin spicy dry noodles were packed with flavor but a tad oily, so the cucumber side dish we got was a great pairing. There aren't too many veggie options just as an FYI! The pork soup dumplings were good but nothing spectacular. They weren't very hot when they came out, and they didn't have too much soup in them.“
“After some less than stellar Chinese food locally, I hadn't had any for a long time. Then we celebrated Lunar New Year with friends with takeout from this restaurant and everything was delicious! I am now obsessed with their sesame balls that include peanuts. So good. And the woman who took the order could not have been sweeter. It's nice to finally have a go-to spot again for when we're in the mood for Chinese... we'd long ago found area favorites for Thai (Kiin Imm), Indian (Bansari), and Mexican (Taco Bamba!).“

“Authentic Chinese flavors! If you’re craving yummy rice noodles, Yanzi House has tons of great options. We tried the pork and mushroom and beef flank options. Both were tasty. I haven’t had thick rice noodles like these since living in China. Be sure to also get the beef burrito and calimari. This was all so good! We’ll be back!“
“I love the single family sized burner tables to keep small children away from hot surfaces. I also like being able to sample two broths (spicy, mild). Our server was very family friendly and that is why I recommend bringing your family to this restaurant. This restaurant fills up fast so I recommend arriving early or late to beat the crowd. I think we got the last parking spot in Stryker mall. There were three guys blocking my car upon departure but they moved upon request. We came hungry and left very full.“
“The Sichuan Legend Hotpot and more is new a management. They take care of their guests like family, Nicole our server is very sweet. The ambiance, food and service is wonderful. Their menu consists of hotpot and more. We tried the hotpot and loved it, will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu. Thank you and keep it up. ??“
“Really good spot overall. In a sea of overpriced and overrated places this place stands out with quality food and a good price. The place itself isn’t extravagant and not everything on the menu will blow you away but there are defiantly some standouts and a place worth trying.“
“This is a pretty decent chinese restaurant in a small mall area on fairfax. We ate here a couple of times, and the servers are very friendly- but we ordered takeout the most though and the food never disappoints. They are also pretty nice about adjusting menu items like asking for "tomato with egg" when it's not on the menu and also making some small changes to dishes. Definitely a great place if you want some traditional Chinese dishes in addition to the usual takeout chinese american foods. I would say their Uber eats prices are the same as dine in prices, so you won't be saving much pick up yourself, though.“
“The owner has turned a typical take out place into a cozy family restaurant with lovely Christmas decorations and actual heating (can't say how many restaurants still blow cold air onto your food in winter), felt warm and welcomed dining here. We ordered their lunch special, drunken noodle and basil fried rice with chicken, both were superb. Fresh ingredients, with the right amount of spicy, full of Thai flavors. We didn't have to wait long for the dishes either. The server was courteous and attentive. Will be back to try their other dishes~“
“Had a great authentic meal here! Food arrived quickly and service was friendly. Favorite dishes: Mashed pepper, preserved egg, and eggplant app was unique and refreshing. Stir fried beef (chef special) was cooked perfectly. Very tender beef Reservations: you might need a reservation if you go around 7pm. We went on a Sunday at 6pm, and were seated immediately. After 6:30 all the tables were filled. Fyi, your clothes will probably smell strongly of Sichuan peppercorns when you leave. So just beware.“
“Conveniently located near Loews and Burlington in Fairfax, this Korean-style Chinese restaurant serves good Jjajangmyeon (Black bean noodles) and Tangsuyook (Fried pork with sweet sauce) that are generously proportioned. The decor is a bit old, but it is a good restaurant to visit when you crave these dishes.“
“I was in the mood for Chinese carryout and I always drive past this place, so I decided to give them a try. I ordered General Tsao Chicken and steamed veggies with brown sauce on the side. Once I ordered, the gentleman asked if it was my first time there and new to the neighborhood? I responded yes to both questions and he said, Welcome! And gave me two candy mints. That gesture was so kind. The atmosphere is very casual, just like the sign outside says, "casual dining". The other aspect that leads me to give 5 stars, I observed a guy ordering food and his English was sorta choppy. The gentleman that worked there was so patient and respectful to the customer, it warmed my heart. The food was what I expected and delish. I'm glad I found my neighborhood carryout for Chinese food! I will be back to try other items on the menu. Very nice and polite service.“
“For the past 20 years, this restaurant has been my family's go-to for the best Chinese takeout. They have the absolute best brown sauce in town. Their crab rangoon is also top notch. The delivery is fast and the customer service is always excellent. Food is always fresh and hot and the meat is great quality and not fatty.“
“Hunan Cafe has good Chinese food that is quick and well priced compared to others in the area, it's super close for a pickup. I enjoy most of the entrees I get. The Lo Mein is tasty and the noodles are the right amount of chewy. This is definitely a take out place, it has tables if you want to eat in, but it's not set up for atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and positive, They have their own website and the prices are cheaper than using D**rD*ash so definitely check it out. This is my go to when I need low cost and fast Chinese food.Parking: The parking lot can get busy around lunch and dinner time but there is plenty of spots.“

“I found this place not far from my hotel. It's in a strip-mall. It looks like more of a takeout place. But, there are plenty of tables inside. There is an extensive menu. There are authentic dishes. They will probably make anything you want. I wanted chicken, bok choy, and rice. The woman behind the counter was very clever, funny, and nice. She recommended a simple salt, pepper, and garlic sauce. They cooked it very quickly. There was a lot of food. It was very tasty. I saw many things on the menu that I want to try.
