“I recently tried Shah’s Halal Food in Fairfax, and it was a really good experience. The food tasted fresh, flavorful, and filling. I ordered the chicken and lamb over rice platter, and the portions were generous with well-seasoned meat and tasty white sauce. The rice was fresh, and the spicy sauce added a nice kick.

The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was also very fast, which makes it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. If you enjoy New York-style halal food, this place is definitely worth trying in Fairfax.

“Took the entire family to Freddy's to get for the July lunch and noticed it would make a great vantage point to come back at night to watch fireworks. So we had a great time they are there's great food for young people in older lake The kids loved it but the star of the show was coming back later last night to watch the fireworks being launched from Fairfax high School by Fairfax City for their annual fireworks display. The parade was rained out and we feared the fireworks would be as well but they weren't a place was packed the streets were packed every place was packed but if we're nothing else check Freddy's out for the most epic spot to watch fireworks from. Everybody had a spectacular time and don't forget they're frozen custard is legit 10 out of 10 will go again next year and many times to eat there before then.“

“I first discovered this place in DC and was shocked by how cheap it is. Honestly the food here tastes amazing flavor wise. I have tried the vast majority of the menu items and I can say you cant go wrong with the beef shawarma and fries. The price is just a bit expensive but the portion is large. It will definitely make you full. Recommend checking it out.“

“I really enjoy Shake Shack at Mosaic District! I love that you can easily order online right from the restaurant, which makes everything quick and convenient.

The Shake Shack burger is definitely one of my favorites — juicy, flavorful, and delicious with the crispy crinkle-cut French fries. 🍔🍟 I also really like their chicken nuggets, which are crispy and tasty.

“I highly recommend the donuts. Visited Fairfax duck donuts about a month ago. However, the service was horrible. The staff was unfriendly, the cashier never greeted us and just took our order and passed it on to the next person. The T-shirt she was wearing was dirty and covered in flour. Maybe an apron that could be changed when dirty would be a good idea. The young lady who put the toppings on the donuts kept looking over her shoulder at a child who was crying and glaring at the mother. She was slow anyway and that made her even slower. When she finally gave me my order, again no greeting just slid the box toward me. I Commented I was missing missing one donut. Her reply was oh yeah I forgot to put that in the box. No apologies or anything. So as I said the donuts were great. Absolutely love them. But the staff need some training in customer service.“
