“Every time I crave "Chic Fil A" they're closed. Why do they have to be closed on Sundays?“

“Unless you are familiar with the order process it was confusing because no one behind the counter assisted you. Mostly do it yourself. Grab you drink out of the cooler. Order at the counter, pay and review the receipt and then it's difficult to get the order corrected, we had 2 sandwiches that had to be redone. Purchased 5 cookies and the sign says buy 5 get 1 free, not enough cookies out on counter, had difficulty get anyone's attention behind the counter fir additional cookies and to get 2 shakes that were ordered. Self serve chips and fountain drinks, unable to find any napkins to take with take out order. There also seemed to be a language barrier when asking questions and we're referred to the person making sandwiches. They should post instructions as the workers seem to have assigned positions that do not include responding to customers in line. They are also busy with on line and pick orders so plan to wait a while. Never got any napkins looked all over the restaurant. The food was good.“

“I was helped to place an order in their kiosk and one of my items required additional corrections in the main terminal, so everything was ready and very friendly, I asked for the code to the restrooms and was given it very quickly and the restrooms were clean“

“Absolutely amazing experience at The Red Bird Hot Chicken & Fries. The chicken was incredibly fresh, crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. The spice level was perfectly balanced, giving that authentic hot chicken taste without overpowering the food. Their fries were seasoned really well and came out hot and crispy too.

The service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. The staff was welcoming, respectful, patient, and made sure everything was perfect for our order. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and family friendly with a very nice vibe overall.

You can really tell they care about quality and customer experience. Portion sizes were generous, food came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely one of the best hot chicken spots we’ve tried in the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious halal food, great service, and a great atmosphere. “This was our first time and the “bearded guy” was so helpful. We each got a taco and told him to make them however he likes them. He asked if we were allergic to anything and then delivered 2 incredible tacos. All of the flavors and textures were so well balanced. We will definitely be back!“

“While waiting on my car to get washed i looked around to see where the nearest food establishment was at because my stomach started to remind me that it's time to eat. I looked around the parking lot and nothing in eyes site until in the corner of my eye i spotted a red food truck. I said that's it, how convenient. “I’ve been to a couple of Afghan Kabob restaurants but this one was truly really great and tasty. The food was delicious and the customer service was the best. I highly recommend trying out Fairfax Kabob!“

“Fantastic local restaurant serving Nashville Korean fusion. The best fried chicken I have ever had. Reasonable prices for Alexandria location and incredible, made to order food. Really a gem of a find. The rest of their menu (outside of fried chicken) is also delicious, but their chicken and homemade sauces are hard to beat. Highly recommend!“

“I recently tried Shah’s Halal Food in Fairfax, and it was a really good experience. The food tasted fresh, flavorful, and filling. I ordered the chicken and lamb over rice platter, and the portions were generous with well-seasoned meat and tasty white sauce. The rice was fresh, and the spicy sauce added a nice kick.

The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was also very fast, which makes it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. If you enjoy New York-style halal food, this place is definitely worth trying in Fairfax.

“First of many times for sure! The chicken is very flavorful I ordered the 2 piece chicken sandwich w/fries and slaw. Everything was very yummy! Only con is one of my pieces was so small that I was eating more bread than chicken. Whereas the other one over filled the bread (I was very pleased with this one) . I highly recommend them! Stopped by last night and had a great experience. This is a family-run halal spot and you can really feel the hospitality when you walk in. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the service was great. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly.

If you’re looking for a solid halal chicken and burger spot with great customer service, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Took the entire family to Freddy's to get for the July lunch and noticed it would make a great vantage point to come back at night to watch fireworks. So we had a great time they are there's great food for young people in older lake The kids loved it but the star of the show was coming back later last night to watch the fireworks being launched from Fairfax high School by Fairfax City for their annual fireworks display. The parade was rained out and we feared the fireworks would be as well but they weren't a place was packed the streets were packed every place was packed but if we're nothing else check Freddy's out for the most epic spot to watch fireworks from. Everybody had a spectacular time and don't forget they're frozen custard is legit 10 out of 10 will go again next year and many times to eat there before then.“

You can even pair your entree with tons of different sauces, which makes it even better.The only thing about this place is that it's really tight on seating, and only outside seating is available. “This is a really cool spot. The inside is nicely decorated, with lots of dog pictures!! They have lots of options. You can get the hot dogs as beef, veggie, or chicken. I got the Buffalo (blue cheese crumbles, chopped celery, sriracha, and ranch) and House (onion relish, mustard, mayo, celery salt) I really enjoyed both, especially the House Dog!! This is a Black owned, gourmet hot dog spot! Very cool!“

“This is the 2nd location of this chain that I've visited. Like the other location, huge proportions, good flavor, cold drink options. Able to customize upon request (omit things, light or regular amount of sauce, etc.). I love this as a quick but decent gyro spot! Unsure of how healthy it actually is, but it makes you feel like you're getting a slightly healthier option than the deep-fried fast food options. Atmosphere seems fine for dining solo or with others. Small space if dining wth a group. Will definitely return if in the area!“

“Their signature thing The Gyro is spot on copious gyro meat balanced well with tomatoes, onions and tzatki. The side Greek Salad was tasty but heavy on the greens and a real Greek salad is cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, green peppers. I ordered way too much as the Gyro is a lot. Enjoy! Opa!!
PS Dolmades are cooked fresh when you order and are hot which was me to me, but also spot on. A really good side if you like Dolmades.“

“All McDonald's should be the same across the DMV I WAS IN FAIRFAX COUNTY no McDonald's I can compare it to not in SE Washington, DC; PG County or Alexandria, Va. In Fairfax there was a lady constantly wiping down tables keep the soda counter clean it was and amazing to see how clean that McDonald was kept. Manager even brought the food to one person table. Just excellent customer service. I felt like I had travel out of DMV.“

“Overall going here consistently everything is great however something I noticed is that the verde is not being properly made the cilantro is supposed to be blended 4ozs of cilantro salt and 1 bag of verde every time I see it it is looking like someone just finely chopped cilantro and mixed it in. This dish was everything, a well seasoned, tender steak cooked to perfection, topped with a fried egg, and loaded with crispy fries and sweet fried plantains. Every bite was rich, hearty, and packed with authentic Latin flavor.

The portion size was incredibly generous, easily worth every penny. The steak had a wonderful sear on the outside while staying juicy on the inside, and the way it all came together on the plate felt like true comfort food done right.

“The good: Omar was great and he was so helpful and nice, he even went over the deals of the day. The other lady not so much, she had bad attitude, and rude come backs when she barely put cheese on the sandwich and then when I asked her which sandwich had jalapeños she asked Omar to open the sandwich because she didn’t remember. Her attitude was terrible! All she had to do was make a mark on the sandwich that was different, that was it. The only reason I take a star is because of her attitude, other than that it was good service.“

“This is my favorite Subway. I have been to many subways in my lifetime. I've never been impressed to where I thought I'd write a review. I've come here three times so far and each time I was greeted with a smile. The vegetables are always fresh and the store is always clean. The employees are always patient with me and my kids because we never know what we want. One day I had gotten off of work and got some mud in the store from my boots. They were not angry at all, definitely didn't do it on purpose, but they could see how exhausted and hungry I was at the time.
