“This is a decent location for Five Guys - conveniently located in Potomac shopping area. The restaurant is cozy and does have a few tables near the entrance for outdoor seating. The location is also busy during meal times and are open until 10 PM on most days.The staff is friendly too and helps you with the order if needed. Service is quick too and we have been able to get the food within 5 minutes. They do give you a hard time on getting more napkins for some reason!The food is good - like other Five Guys. There is also a sack of peanuts waiting by the ordering counter that guests can dig in to while waiting for the food to arrive. It's always fun to crack open peanut shells and make a mess when you do not have to do the cleanup later!Our go to items are of course the burger (with cheese, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms), hot dog, and fries - gotta have them while they are hot!The sauce on the burger is good too. I did not mind after opening the wrapper. My burger looked like it was professionally wrapped by Santa's #1 elf. The burger was tall and not compressed. The bun was warm and moist. When I saw the cheese, I knew they had just made it for me. The cheese was warm but still had it's square shape. I could see every ingredient without lifting the bun. It was beautiful. I took a bite, and it was pur perfection! The burger was juicy and tender. The onions were crisp and gave texture. The mayo and cheese kept everything together and mild the punch of the onions. The fries were also good, crispy, and smooth on the inside. Everything was fresh and hot. I don't even like fast food, but this is the best I've ever had. Checkers' new model should be, "We might be slower, but we are the best fast food you will ever have!" I will gladly wait to get another burger like that. I plan on going back tomorrow. My only issue is I paid $14.38 for the medium combo. Why?“

“It's been years since I've eaten at Five Guys, but today I really needed a burger. I love all the toppings you can customize your burger, but learned that sometimes less in more...otherwise you'll have half your toppings falling in your lap. Went pretty basic with grilled onions, mushrooms, A1 sauce, and it was perfect (although probably should have gotten jalapenos). Plenty cheesy and still juicy but not totally overcooked. Not sure how long they've had 'Little' sized fries, but its still way more than anyone person can eat in a single sitting....and I challenged myself to finish them. Fries were perfect, hot, and crispy; you have to eat these when you first get them otherwise they steam in the bag and become too soggy. Cold, soggy fries are not worth the calories! I also remembered why I don't eat here much, even though they have some of the best burger/fries in the fast casual segment...the oncoming food coma is real!“
