On the positive side, the restaurant is very clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service. “I recently tried Shah’s Halal Food in Fairfax, and it was a really good experience. The food tasted fresh, flavorful, and filling. I ordered the chicken and lamb over rice platter, and the portions were generous with well-seasoned meat and tasty white sauce. The rice was fresh, and the spicy sauce added a nice kick.

The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was also very fast, which makes it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. If you enjoy New York-style halal food, this place is definitely worth trying in Fairfax.

“Took the entire family to Freddy's to get for the July lunch and noticed it would make a great vantage point to come back at night to watch fireworks. So we had a great time they are there's great food for young people in older lake The kids loved it but the star of the show was coming back later last night to watch the fireworks being launched from Fairfax high School by Fairfax City for their annual fireworks display. The parade was rained out and we feared the fireworks would be as well but they weren't a place was packed the streets were packed every place was packed but if we're nothing else check Freddy's out for the most epic spot to watch fireworks from. Everybody had a spectacular time and don't forget they're frozen custard is legit 10 out of 10 will go again next year and many times to eat there before then.“

“This is a really cool spot. The inside is nicely decorated, with lots of dog pictures!! They have lots of options. You can get the hot dogs as beef, veggie, or chicken. I got the Buffalo (blue cheese crumbles, chopped celery, sriracha, and ranch) and House (onion relish, mustard, mayo, celery salt) I really enjoyed both, especially the House Dog!! “I first discovered this place in DC and was shocked by how cheap it is. Honestly the food here tastes amazing flavor wise. I have tried the vast majority of the menu items and I can say you cant go wrong with the beef shawarma and fries. The price is just a bit expensive but the portion is large. “This location has been my neighborhood Shake Shack for the past few years, but I'm just getting to write a review due to the excellent service we received today. My family and I dined in for a quick lunch, and it was the first time I was attended to with such care and diligence at a Shake Shack location! I didn't get the young gentleman's name, but an employee came around 2-3 times to check in on us and clear our plates almost immediately after our meal. I later found out he went out of his way to help take my family's order with ease when they had to transfer it from the self-serve kiosk to the cashier. Food was what you would expect (my lettuce wrap was a bit soggy from sitting around, so maybe preparing that last would be helpful), overall great experience!“

“Chicka Loca is a hidden gem, and the Bistec alo Pobre sealed the deal for me. This dish was everything, a well seasoned, tender steak cooked to perfection, topped with a fried egg, and loaded with crispy fries and sweet fried plantains. Every bite was rich, hearty, and packed with authentic Latin flavor.

The portion size was incredibly generous, easily worth every penny. The steak had a wonderful sear on the outside while staying juicy on the inside, and the way it all came together on the plate felt like true comfort food done right.

“The good: Omar was great and he was so helpful and nice, he even went over the deals of the day. The other lady not so much, she had bad attitude, and rude come backs when she barely put cheese on the sandwich and then when I asked her which sandwich had jalapeños she asked Omar to open the sandwich because she didn’t remember. Her attitude was terrible! All she had to do was make a mark on the sandwich that was different, that was it. The only reason I take a star is because of her attitude, other than that it was good service.“

“Went to Five Guys last night to get burgers and fries for dinner. Been a long time since I have been there. The facility is clean and well staffed. People were friendly and efficient. They were busy but processed my order quickly. I ordered one little cheeseburger with catchup and one little cheeseburger all they way along with a small order of fries to share. Five Guys has gotten a bit pricey but so has everyone else. $22.33 was the final tally. The burgers were great, juicy, done right. The all the way burger was loaded up and a meal in itself. Great soft buns that hold up until you are finished completes the sandwich. A small fries is all you need for two to share. They fill the cup up then dump more in the bag. The only complaint I have is Five Guys Fries are never crispy. That is there style. They are very good but a bit on the greasy side. But we ate it all up anyways! Enjoyed the meal, a special treat.“

“I've been going to Five Guys since the Murells opened Number 1 in South Arlington in the 80's. I was friends with two of the brothers, and my brother was a member of the first crew at that store. This franchise keeps true to the atmosphere and food, and I've been coming here for years. Which ever bakery they are using makes rolls that taste and feel closest to the original Brenners recipe. Oddly, I went last night and the only sodas they had in the dispenser were the Zero types. Strange.“

Still the best in the game. The service was also super friendly and efficient, even during what looked like a busy time. While I didn't do delivery, I overheard a couple of folks mentioning some recent order issues, so maybe dine-in is the safer bet for now. Overall though, still a solid and satisfying fast-food experience.“
