On the positive side, the restaurant is very clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service. If they could improve the quality of the meat and reduce the grease, it would be an even better dining experience.“

So trying a new establishment I was overwhelmed and worried about my order. “I recently tried Shah’s Halal Food in Fairfax, and it was a really good experience. The food tasted fresh, flavorful, and filling. I ordered the chicken and lamb over rice platter, and the portions were generous with well-seasoned meat and tasty white sauce. The rice was fresh, and the spicy sauce added a nice kick.

The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was also very fast, which makes it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. If you enjoy New York-style halal food, this place is definitely worth trying in Fairfax.

I’d especially recommend their combo platters, gyros, and falafel. Overall, great taste, good portions, and reasonable prices.“

“This is a really cool spot. The inside is nicely decorated, with lots of dog pictures!! They have lots of options. You can get the hot dogs as beef, veggie, or chicken. I got the Buffalo (blue cheese crumbles, chopped celery, sriracha, and ranch) and House (onion relish, mustard, mayo, celery salt) I really enjoyed both, especially the House Dog!! The staff is always friendly and goes the extra mile offering to get drink refills or throw out your trash when you are done eating. The gold standard for fast food dining experiences. “Went here at about 11PM with a friend after catching a show in DC. Even for a Tuesday there was a line and people kept filtering in as we ate, and after eating here, I 1000% get why. Incredible food, perfectly seasoned meats, very generous with the sauce, so good I wanted to cry. We came starving and left perfectly sated. The dining area is very no frills, the menu is basically just two items, platters and wraps. It's the epitome of specializing in something to the point of perfection. Going to another show next week and we absolutely plan to stop here again.“

“This location has been my neighborhood Shake Shack for the past few years, but I'm just getting to write a review due to the excellent service we received today. My family and I dined in for a quick lunch, and it was the first time I was attended to with such care and diligence at a Shake Shack location! I didn't get the young gentleman's name, but an employee came around 2-3 times to check in on us and clear our plates almost immediately after our meal. I later found out he went out of his way to help take my family's order with ease when they had to transfer it from the self-serve kiosk to the cashier. Food was what you would expect (my lettuce wrap was a bit soggy from sitting around, so maybe preparing that last would be helpful), overall great experience!“

Still the best in the game. The service was also super friendly and efficient, even during what looked like a busy time. While I didn't do delivery, I overheard a couple of folks mentioning some recent order issues, so maybe dine-in is the safer bet for now. Overall though, still a solid and satisfying fast-food experience.“

“I've been going to Five Guys since the Murells opened Number 1 in South Arlington in the 80's. I was friends with two of the brothers, and my brother was a member of the first crew at that store. This franchise keeps true to the atmosphere and food, and I've been coming here for years. Which ever bakery they are using makes rolls that taste and feel closest to the original Brenners recipe. Oddly, I went last night and the only sodas they had in the dispenser were the Zero types. Strange.“

“This place is awesome. 10 years ago, I wrote an email to Cane’s begging them to open up some locations in the DC area — and they finally did. Chicken tenders are incredible, the french fries are crispy and delicious, and the Texas Toast offers a delicate softness grounded by a resounding crunch. And don’t even get me started on the sauce, there’s nothing like it in any other fast food joint on this planet. It’s amazing. Great service too.“

“We love taco bell and during out DC visit , we came for morning breakfast and dinner and have wonderful food experience. Staff is good and very accommodating and ready to remake if food or coffee cold.

“Great burgers. Salted peanuts in the shell are a nice treat. They know how to cook beach fries the right way (2 baths). Price is a factor, but the food is well executed. Potomac location has a few nice outdoor tables.“

The fried rice could have been a little better. It was sitting in the warmer for a while, so it was a bit on the dry side. Overall, great place to have something quick and convenient.“

“Food is what you expect from McDonald’s. I’m not giving McDonald’s food in general five stars but the level at which the staff here produces food so neatly and quickly is impressive. I have yet to get soggy fries or a messy sandwich or wrong order from this location.

“It was so good and loved the spice blend. The portion was huge and took a minute to devour the sando. With the spice and the sweetness of the cabbage was perfection. The fried okra with the dip was good.
