This is the 2nd location of this chain that I've visited. Like the other location, huge proportions, good flavor, cold drink options. Able to customize upon request (omit things, light or regular amount of sauce, etc.). I love this as a quick but decent gyro spot! Unsure of how healthy it actually is, but it makes you feel like you're getting a slightly healthier option than the deep-fried fast food options. Glad they moved out of DC to come here to Northern Virginia and settle here. It’s a benefit and it’s convenient for those of us who live in Northern Virginia. 👍🏼
Is DCG the most aesthetically pleasing on the inside? No. Is the staff always smiling and eager to take your order? Also no. But I do not care. And neither should you. This is some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. I used to live in Tysons, but even after I’ve moved half an hour away, I will still come to get takeout from DCG.
