I truly do not understand having a soul food restaurant, however not having soul food people cooking the soul food. When I walked in the fish looked good the blackened catfish look good however the macaroni and cheese truly tells you the story of what everything else might taste like. And it looked oily and orangy. Also if I'm coming to a soul food restaurant that's who and what I expect to see. I should have walked out when I walked in the same happened at Rhode Island...

Plenty of options available and food is always amazing. Yes, prices have increased but what restaurant or business hasn’t. Our people unfortunately complain about everything and champion nothing. It’s annoying. Anyhow, I had a great time per usual! Going to the Lanham location soon!

So I went here to get some food for someone else because they don't have many veggie dishes that I can eat. The food looked good, and the service was quick and courteous. I was impressed.
