Well seasoned and cooked food (not over or under cooked). Prices are reasonable for vegan food. The drumettes are the main reason I went to this restaurant and they did not disappoint. My order included collard greens, black eye peas over rice, lemon herb drumettes and honey drumettes. I never pass up sorrel and it was very good as well. I will return the next time I’m in MD.
I had been struggling as to whether or not to make this post because I like this place so much. I always get asked, “why do you keep going if the customer service isn’t the greatest and you always have an issue when you go?” My response is, because the food is good. It was nice to eat somewhere with so many vegan options! I would definitely get the breaded vegan chicken cutlets again and the biscuit was pretty good but I do not recommend either version of the mac and cheese because the mac is quite soft. I regret not choosing the grits over the mac because those looked great! Drink option are all bottled juices and smoothies and a few lemonades - no water, soda, or tea.
