I visited this location today (August 22, 2025), and while the staff who know me by name as I visit this store a lot were as professional and friendly as always, I was very disappointed with the new fry portion policy.
I paid nearly $8 for a regular fry and received about 18 French fries. I understand this is a company-wide change, not the staff’s fault, but it felt like a poor value compared to what Five Guys used to offer. The generous portions, especially the extra fries in the bag, used to set this company apart.
To be honest, I had to stop at McDonald’s of all places afterward just to get more fries to feel satisfied. I truly appreciate the outstanding service from the Capitol Heights team, but I hope corporate reconsiders this change, as it affects the overall customer experience. I am highly disappointed in this decision and if I come back to this store it would literally only be because of the staff. Great Job staff! To corporate please take a look at what I received for $8 in the picture below.

Food is never ready on time splease stop telling ubereats and dashers that food is rready for pick up when it never is we already dont get paid enough
WAAAAY TOO MUCH salt on the fries! It's egregious how much salt is added to an already salted bin. If you can see the salt on the fries it's TOO MUCH!

Update: I still haven’t received my money back. I filed a dispute through my bank. I deal with refunds with my job all the time. Don’t ever let a company lie to you about it taking 7-10 business days. They can put it in effect immediately if they choose to do so. We do it all the time to avoid disputed charges.
I just had multiple fraudulent charges on my bank account from this location. They were very helpful to cancel those orders and started the refund request so I can get my money back. They let me know to change my password on their website. When I logged in I seen a different number and two different addresses.

I had a horrible experience here. I placed an order online. I called to confirm that they can put my condiments (ketchup and mayo on the side). They told me they would but they never did. They also added pickles and other things I don’t eat and didn’t ask for to my order. The fries were also soggy and over salted. I will not be ordering from here again.
Had a huge to go order for a competition. Easy to work with. Good food and everything was easily identified and ready when I got there.
Burgers were pretty good! Bacon was burned to a crisp.
