My wife was served overcooked sirlion tips when she specifically asked for rare beef tips with blood. If you aren't able to serve them that way then you should have explained that from the beginning. My wife was also brought a dirty steak knife. This has completely ruined my first ever NFL football experience before I even got there because she blames me and is now in a terrible state of mind. We waited over 30 mins for overcooked steak. Thanks a lot IHOP. Will probably never go there again because you absolutely ruined my day moving forward.

This was my first time back to this ihop in years. They must have new management. There was no wait and the food was perfect ihop food. No complaints whatsoever.

Wow, did an online order, went to go get it, it wasn't ready. Same with six other people. Some lady comes up to do a roll call to get orders out. LOOKS ME RIGHT IN THE FACE, asks the guy next to me his name, goes around the room back to me and turns away and walks off. Oh, BTW, im white, everyone else is black... when she gets back, I get up to let her know my name. What do you know, my order was ready and sitting for a while. You might want to check your staff for race issues. There seems to be one here.

I am writing to give a shout out to Lamar, an employee who helped me today during curbside pick up! He did a tremendous job helping me locate my food order. I started coming to this location several months ago because I have children and it is hard to find good curb side service. The IHOP near my house had terrible service. Anyway, I experienced my first hiccup with the Capitol Heights location and if it wasn’t for Lamar , I would have ended my patronage to this IHOP as well. The issue was that I ordered my food on the app , and when I got there, I clicked “I’m here” and they told me they would be right out…..well they didnt come. Because of my noisy kids, I failed to read the sign that says you can also call. I went to the door to find someone to assist and Lamar was the only employee to come over to help as the others ignored my plea for assistance. THANK YOU LAMAR! You modeled great behavior and problem solving skills ! Well done young man! I am giving them a four stars because of him.

Worst experience ever, we went to have lunch and since the saw us entering the restaurant they turn around and after a wait no one gave us service. If was like they don’t need customers to earn their paycheck. Is this IHOP against a specific race (racist) or what?

I arrived a Latino to give us the order, everything is fine from there, kind and everything, but then they brought the bill, which was 80 dollars, and I was going to pay, and he said, Wait for this bad thing, I do not know if he wanted to scam me, but I am not afraid to pay, then they discriminate against you if you do not tip them.

We had a disappointing experience at this IHOP location. There were ants crawling on the dirty wall right behind our table, which was really off-putting. Our drinks didn’t arrive until after our food was already served, and the overall service felt off, we noticed hair on our table and saw that other nearby guests also had delays with their server. Definitely not the clean or efficient service we were hoping for. It’s obvious that Corporate does not care about this location, just shut it down.
