Irie Cafe Reviews
Walked in and a women working there threw her hands up notified everyone there how much she “hates dealing with people, delivery people, all of it.” I put my hands up and said “ma’am, I just walked in? I just got here?!” She then yelled, well what you want? Another customer asked if she could put her masks on since she was hovering over the food serving, talking and spitting. She ignored her.. maybe next year I’ll come back and it’ll be a totally different experience....read full review

Irie Cafe is a Caribbean-inspired eatery that offers a variety of flavorful dishes. The goat curry is a standout, with generous portions of meat and gravy served with a side of dal puri, a bread with a savory stuffing. The sorrel drink is a refreshing addition to the meal, with a pleasant flavor. The cafe has a friendly and personable staff, with ordering done at a counter in a cafeteria-style setup. Prices may be a bit steep, but the portions are generous. Parking is available and the ambiance is nice.
The dishes at Irie Cafe contain typical Jamaican/Caribbean flavors, and the rice and peas are perfectly moist, making the whole plate better. The curry goat is tender and well-seasoned, while the akee saltfish is better than expected. Customers praise the consistent quality of the curry goat, oxtail, and brown stew chicken, and consider Irie Cafe their favorite Caribbean spot in the area.
