I’m extremely disappointed with the communication and customer service. I placed an order for two velvet cakes and instead of providing even half of the cakes or properly resolving the issue, I was still charged without receiving what I paid for.
If something was out of stock, I — as the customer — should have received a call before any changes were made to my order. Making adjustments without notifying me and then still charging me is completely unacceptable.
The only positive part of this experience was the delivery driver. I truly wish I had gotten his name so I could give him the recognition he deserves. He genuinely tried his best to advocate on my behalf and get the situation resolved. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, we were unable to come to an agreement.
Clear communication and basic customer service go a long way. Sadly, this experience fell far below expectations. I won’t be returning as I was a regular.

Just leaving this establishment and will not be returning. Discovered a piece of what looks like hair wrapped around and fried onto the leg of a drumstick. I went back to the register to bring it to the attention of the cashier. She took the chicken out of my hand, threw it in the trash then walked off and began serving another customer all without saying a word. When I asked her if she was going to address my concerns she said she was going to give me another piece of chicken. As if I would want another piece of chicken from the same batch??? I told her no thanks. She proceeded to tell me she couldn’t give me a refund because her manager wasn’t there and that it’s the chicken or nothing because “that isn’t the way she served it” to me. Basically accusing me of putting it in the chicken?!! It was breaded and fried into the chicken with a piece sticking out. At this point another employee stepped in. She was miraculously able to give me a refund. Aside from the “hair in chicken” incident, the food was meh. The roti wasn’t authentic and had about 20 very large allspice berries throughout. It was difficult to enjoy after biting into several of the bitter berries. It’s been a while since my last visit and the service and food quality has deteriorated. Very disappointing.

I’ll say this… leaving 5 stars because the portion size was great, she was patient while I was trying to figure out what I wanted, and the environment was clean and nice.
I got the oxtail with rice and peas and mac n cheese. The only thing I was a fan of was that the sauce on the oxtails was TOO sweet. It honestly was a step away from just plain ole barbecue sauce. I feel like oxtails are too expensive to have such a basic and sweet sauce. I wasn’t expecting the mac and cheese to be home cooked BUT it was much better than most other restaurants mac and cheese… I’ll give it that. 👍🏽 Rice & peas tasted perfect, just like how my Jamaican friend’s mom used to make it.
I’d come back, but I’d try a different meat.
Update: I came back and tried the curry goat! It was fantastic and the exact flavor I had actually expected from the oxtail. Savory, not sweet. Perfect! I’d also reccomend the collard greens.

I had thd Jerk Chicken entree, which was around $16~17 dollars, excluding the drink.
For an establishment that's serves precooked food from a hot pan, it took shockingly long to get the food. At a very standard dinner window on a Friday, they were out of virtually all their food, to the extent that every person in the line behind me had to order a different meal than the last, because they were out of everything. Even the soda machine was down.
The chicken was on the dry side, and fully boned making it very difficult to eat with the plastic utensils, and the cabbage they served it with was not particularly appetizing. The sides provided don't adequately balance the jerk spice, so the meal just accumulates heat.

I ordered the oxtail dinner, but the meat was fatty and barely any meat at all. It had a ketchup-like flavor, and I was throwing up an hour later from the food.

Cafeteria style service. Very clean. The cashier was awesome. She was attentive and helpful since it was my first experience. The dishes were adequate containing typical Jamaican/ Caribbean flavors. Rice and peas were perfectly moist. It made the whole plate better. Curry goat was tender and well seasoned Akee saltfish was better than I expected. Gotta try the rest of the menu for more content.

The food was mid and the service was okay (not greasy but not bad either) I ordered oxtails with rice and peas with cabbage and dumplings. Overall the experience was good and I would go back once I try the other Caribbean sots in the area.

The food is not the best. I ordered a large oxtail and for $30 i got 4 pieces of meat and 4 pounds of rice. This place use to be amazing, and the oxtail use to have spinners and you got value for your money. Not anymore. I will never return here.
I usually go in to get my food, but I was tired and decided to have it delivered; BIG MISTAKE! The oxtails were nothing but bone and fat. There needs to be better management on the quality of food. Too much money went in the trash today!!!
I’m extremely upset. I just had to deal with a customer who is mad at me because this restaurant has no clue how to package something like a normal human being. WHY would you put a NON FULL-CLOSED lid on a drink and then PUT IT IN A BAG?! Anyone with two brain cells would put a lid that isn’t thin plastic with a HOLE on top in a freaking BAG!!! Like you set us drivers up for disaster and don’t even warn us! Don’t EVERRRRRRR put those drinks without a fully closed lid in a bag! We will just put it in our cupholders if it has a straw hole! SMH USE LOGIC
Food is great, serving size is decent. Tables are a bit high to eat at but otherwise quiet and low-key.
Oxtails... Amazing. Curry chicken... phenomenal. The Rum cake.. OMG!!!!! So good 👍🏾.
