Basic BBQ joint, but man do those wings hit!!!!! The ribs are perfect. I don't know what they do to get that weird, sweet-spice flavor in their sauce, but it's amazing and I can't imagine chicken wings without it. I have been coming here off and on for the last 25 years and will continue to do so as long as it stays in business. Anytime I'm in DC or PG county. I always roll through here.

I had Johnny Boys for the 1st time in 2021, ribs were falling off the bone and seasoned to perfection. Bought some ribs this year 2 times over a weekend and they were dried out and shriveled up. Went back to give them a second chance and was given ribs with nothing but fat on them. Sorry, 3 strikes you're out. It's a no for me. The greens are store brought and is out of the can. Yuk! Worse potatoe salad I had in my life, bland. Do better

Well... it's definitely Not the Johnny Boys I remember. The bbq dice still tastes pretty good but the ribs weren't really flavorful.. just salty. Visited on a Sunday wanting ribs and fries. I ordered the dinner which comes with one side. Fry station is down on Sundays.why?? Lol. So I tried the greens.. something I did not want but it was better price wise... until I paid and I see I was charged extra for greens. Why, because the fry station was down. Not my fault but I guess they make us pay for it. Wouldn't recommend

I come from Lexington Park Maryland to come here . Been coming here for a long time. It's sad to see our people like this. Today I wanted Ribs so I know they take card. So I get out the car all the cooks hanging outside the place. As I'm coming back from the convenience store same guys ask you getting ribs, I said yes they said it's a 30 minute wait. I said okay saying to myself I drove an hour and 45 minutes I can wait 30 min, so I walking up to window young lady Watching TV, 5 seconds before she acknowledge me. I place the orders the same guys who said 30 minutes wait comes in and said my number I goes to pick my ribs out, I get home Ribs are TERRIBLE.

This place used to be good. Had it for the last time tonight. Ribs small and bland, greens disgusting, fried fish no batter, fried chicken no seasoning! I will not be returning!

This is still my favorite rib joint, but the food has been very hit or miss for the last few years. When it hits... IT HITS. But there have been several times where the ribs were super tough and under seasoned. I often have to re-cook and season my order when I get home.

I order a slab of ribs and some fried hard chicken wings. The wings definitely was undercooked and had a very weird taste to them. The ribs tasted like beef ribs not work. In my opinion they over charge for the poor quality of food. $42.00 just for some ribs and chicken. It definitely wasn't worth it.

So i haven’t eaten here in years but had my taste buds for that 1 rib and sauce ?When i got my tray smelled delicious but when i went to taste that 1 rib so unsatisfying the meat was wet like what happen to the smokey taste and flavor taste of salt . i hate it and the seasoning is not the same .
