This is by far the worst experience I have had with Popeyes.
I pulled up to place my order, the DT attendant was not pleasant, and was rushing me. I get to the window the girl has no smile, no courtesy, nothing took my card, as I am making space for my drink I hear behind me:" here" to return my card. I grab it. My food arrives, and the breading is falling off the shrimp 🍤, it's greasy and barely warm!
I usually get crunchy shrimps, which is why It is the ONLY thing I eat from there. I was starving because I had to work early in the morning and after work I ran errands since it is a busy day before Thanksgiving and the road are crowded, I did not stop for food until I was done around 3p. I decided there was no one in line, and I saw maybe 2 guests inside the building as I was driving around. So ai am not sure why they rushed to cook the food or if it sat there too long 🤔, but the way it was wet and soggy, I can tell you it was briefly dropped in the oil then removed.
To avoid food poisoning, because this is seafood we are talking about here, I ate just my biscuit, which was hotter than my shrimps, then had to drive 35 more minutes home, in order to throw it in the air fryer to finish the cooking process myself. Why pay $14 for a meal if I was going to cook it myself and waste ⛽️ smh.
Never again! I should know better than to order in that area anyway. Back to Charles County, I will.

Online they had a special to get a free chicken sandwich when you purchase $10. One of the sandwiches was all grizzle and ended up throwing it away. I don't understand how a restaurant can serve such low quality food but I guess since it was free of course they give you the worst. Biscuit was also stale. It is highly unlikely that I will return.

Maybe it was the day I went in, but the fries were oily and soggy, and the chicken probably wasn't fried in fresh oil; they both tasted strange. Even my toddlers rejected the food.

The staff is ALWAYS RUDE doesn't matter if they change employees which leans towards a management issue.......I ordered online for 12:30 pick up, made it there at 12 and food had already been prepared. If I had showed at 12:30, my food would have been sitting there over 30 mins. All food was luke warm as the only thing keeping it from being cold is the heat lamp. I asked for fresh food, she took it back, dipped it in hot grease and gave it back to me. Asked for sauce on the side of my wings, wings were drenched in sauce. I really hate them on the cool. They are just lucky, that they lucky, thats all I am going to say cause the disrespect is too high.

Although the food is always fresh. On this day, the drivethru staff was HORRIBLE. The 2 young ladies in the driveway thru were very unprofessional and RUDE!!! NO MANNERS AT ALL. One of them had their back to the window and when I asked the other a question. She cut me off before I can complete a sentence. The Popeyes staff has always been friendly, but if these young ladies don't like their jobs and will be rude like that, then maybe they need to find some other work

The Cajun shrimp as was the fries are the best in terms of fast food! The Cole slaw wasn't tasty though ?Service at this location was great. The woman who took our order is pleasant, attentive and efficient. Good experience overall.

Today, I decided to try Popeye's, even though I don't usually eat there. Despite the long line, I had a good experience and the customer service was excellent. I ordered a 5-piece meal but only received four pieces. When I went back, the young lady asked what I was missing, and when I told her, she promptly gave it to me without question. That's what I call good customer service. I want to express my gratitude to her once again in this comment; she is the main reason I'm writing this. I may consider going back in the future.
