Sardi's Pollo A La Brasa - Capitol Heights

My experiences at Sardis Capital Heights has always been great. The food is always fresh with excellent seasoning. Carolina always makes sure my string beans are cooked to perfection. I appreciate her smile that always greets me when I place my order. She is a true asset to Sardis.

I was there on Monday and I have to say this location has come a long way I greeted by Michelle, the new assistant manager she was helpful and also explained to me store policy thoroughly. Anna also helped me figure out what size I should get in Jefferson. The cashier was a delight.

I absolutely love Sardis The chicken is juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. The sides are always fresh, and everything tastes homemade. The service is phenomenal. Lesli was the person who helped me. Thank you, very good service.

I normally ever have a bad experience coming here but today I ordered the 3 meat combo and received two badly burnt lamb chops and my husband only received one of his lamb chops. I’ll be taking a break from here because it’s too expensive to have a bad experience.

The worst customer service Sardis ever!

Ordered the lamb chops. Asked to have them medium rare.. they came well done and the cut of the chops were terrible. Looked like scraps. I eat Sardis every week at the temple hills location. This is the first time I’m disappointed. Even the sides weren’t as good.

Horrible experience at this location. I ordered 2 chicken and cheese subs and a couple of sides. The subs were very dry and the bread was hard. One of the sides was mashed potatoes and they were very dry. I called the store back and spoke to the manager Janelle and she apologized and told me whenever I come back it will be taken care of. Well when I came back a few weeks later the other managers to ld me they nothing about it and when they called Janelle she said she doesn't know anything as well. I asked could I speak with Janelle since she was on the phone to try to refresh her memory and they wouldn't allow it. I even offered to purchase more food if they would fix this situation and they said NO. So I left and went to the Bowie location in the rain to purchase over $70.00 worth of food and was treated exceptionally well. What makes matters even worse i reached out to there catering department since there isn't a corporate number and NO ONE has yet to return my call or respond to my complaint. I I recommend that anyone looking for good food and service stay clear away from that location. The Bowie location is much much better. I wish I didn't have to give any stars because they dont deserve it.

This is a surprise discovery in an unglamorous neighborhood behind the mediocre hotel at which we stayed. Sardis doesn’t look like much, a fast-food franchise tucked away near the local Home Depot. But the quarter chicken with two sides is an enormous amount of food for around $15! The chicken is super tender and juicy, the skin is bursting with flavor, and even the rice and the Brussels sprouts are really tasty! What a surprise!
