The slowest place on earth. The gentleman at the counter made me and many other wait over an hour just to take our orders. He spent more time in the kitchen area than the front counter. He checked his cellphone for texts more than being attentative to the customers.Poor poor poor customer service. Sadly they display the negative service that most minority owned business are sterotyped to have.

The saltfish and bake was ok the beef party was really good

The lady receptionist in the front desk her attitude is not good . Last time I was waiting for my order for long time , when I went to her my food was already at the top of the desk , I don't know how long was there , once open the food was cold.

This use to be one of my favorite Jamaican restaurants in the area, but it has fallen off tremendously. I spent well over one hundred dollars on 4 entrees that largely went in the garbage. The snapper was over cooked and mushy with no flavor. When I went to order it the staff was unsure if they even had it then came back and they found some. I should've taken that as a sign because it tasted as if they pulled it out the freezer and fried it. I subbed white rice for the rice and beans for 2 of the entrees - the rice was parboiled and had zero flavor. I, at the least, expected jasmine rice but even uncle Ben's would've been better than what I had. Jerk shrimp was so overly seasoned it wasn't edible. The only thing that was decent was the salmon. Veggies were fair at best and the rice and beans were very blah in the other entrees.

I won't be going here again because this isn't the first time I've received subpar food and frankly it's too expensive to not be pleased. Staff is very nice though.

I really wanted to like Taste of the Caribbean, but the food just didn’t deliver. The portions were small for the price, and the flavor was lacking. I asked for spicy and thankfully received a sauce on the side, which gave the food some taste, but it shouldn’t take extra sauce to bring out flavor. With so many great Caribbean options across the DMV, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

They truly like accountability. So many times I order from Uber eats and they give me the wrong items they blame it on Uber eats I get a chicken soup with extra dumplings. They give me extra yam and no dumplings. They blame it on Uber Eats I order a rum cake they give me the raspberry rum cake they blame it on Uber eats I order curry goat they give me goat with stew and no curry and lied to me and tell me that curry is brown. I have officially been converted I now go to Negril which is not too far from this location they are 100% better

I'm a vegetarian so I only ordered sides of cabbage, which was kind of bland, mac and cheese, which was very good, white rice, a slice of pound cake, which was moist and perfectly frosted, and a ginger beer.

My order was beyond disappointing! 1st the taste is nothing to rant about or share with friends! The order to prepared order is wayyyyy to long and they were out of everything that I really wanted but I didn't find out until after the delivery driver arrived! Had the delivery driver waiting way to long for my order oh and let's not forget were rude! I will NEVER order from this business again and just to think I was ready to fall in love with this business with me being a Guyanese American but I have to continue my search to find my go to Guyanese Caribbean restaurant. What really broke my heart is the dry curry & jerk chicken and the BURNT ROTI! Disrespectful!!!!!!
