“Great local bar and pool hall with a jukebox in the back.
The spot has two pool tables, and the bartender poured some great drinks to get you a ripped for a fun evening.
Played a couple of games with some people and had a genuinely GREAT night.
It's definitely a valid low-key "chill spot" in Bmore.“

“Service was great and so was the food! Try the Bond St burger paired with a Duda's Lager rovzivica for something a little different but SO good!“

“Idle Hour is a Baltimore gem 💎
And when DJ Mudbone is on the 1s and 2s, it’s next-level. His deep crate picks and seamless genre-blending set the perfect vibe for a smooth, silky, and fun night. 🎶
🍹The Jungle Bird cocktail? Crafted to perfection, as always. Whether you’re here for the vinyl, the cocktails, or both Idle Hour never misses. Highly recommend!“

“I was on vacation and visited “The Horse You Came in On” and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. The atmosphere was incredible, from the moment I walked in, the energy of the crowd and the vibe of the space made it feel special. The staff were friendly and helpful, and grabbing a drink at the bar was quick and easy!! Can’t wait to visit again! The Owner Eric is a great guy as well!!“
“Great Place for locals and those who happen to wander in there one night for which I’m both. Small, friendly, intimate spot with an old school feel. Cheap drinks and food complimented by pool tables, jukebox, karaoke, and great bartenders.“

“Excellent experience! While my bestie was having brain surgery at Johns Hopkins I walked down to this neighborhood bar. I met the manger Dave and the bartender Merideth. Awesome people they listened to what I was going through and they were so kind and understanding. The environment is awesome and so is the clientele. Good music everything from punk, rock, and pop. But it definitely wasn’t to loud. A total non judgement zone. All different walks of life. Great pool table also. I will be visiting this bar every time I’m in Baltimore. This is definitely a hidden gem in charm city! Thanx Spirit Tavern!“
“One of the friendliest dive/neighbor hood bars on Federal Hill! We were just visiting and they treated us like family. Stop in if you're in Baltimore.“

“Mount Royal Tavern is the epitome of a dive bar. 90% of its patrons are long-standing locals who have been coming there regularly for years to unwind their day with a drink or three. Always like a family environment. Always welcoming newcomers. The only food served is something very close to chips and pretzels but you're free to bring your own or get something delivered. Drinks are cheap. I mean CHEAP, but not diluted, with very generous servings. When it's warm, they often throw the grill on in the back and you never know if someone is serving fish that they just caught or just some hot dogs with a few others who've chipped in to do a potluck. This establishment has been around for decades. If you've ever seen Cheers, Mount Royal Tavern is definitely the Baltimore equivalent, but better.“
“Convenient neighborhood liquor store, the only one in the area open on Sundays! Friendly staff are always helpful. Good selection with reasonable prices.
Parking: Parking available on both sides of the street directly outside the store and lounge. Also, a couple of spots on the side of the building.“
“I never been but I heard it's very nice there the food is awesome I will be ther“
“Great atmosphere, music, fun people“
“They're open on Sundays. I've never encountered a liquor store where the expect a tip...especially just for turning around and getting a bottle off of the shelf, but here we are.
At least they're open on Sundays.“
“A bar that makes you feel cool even when you don’t want to !! Something seductive here… a “be yourself” clause unspoken at the door that grants you a quilt of easy tranquility. The bartender ,doorman, Chas movie scenario feels like a movie you directed for yourself to be the main character watching the world go by as unique evening soap operas!“
“Did not have the food here, but Jimmy is great! We came late on a Sunday and he showed us a great time. Drinks are priced well. We've been here before, but Jimmy created a welcoming atmosphere and offered great conversation. They're making a real effort to appeal to a higher end customer; the bathrooms are newly renovated. Looking forward to seeing upgrades. Will be returning!“
“They open at 6 a.m. and they close at 2 a.m., but be there before 1:40 am. They tend to close early due to regulations and fines. Don't show up at 1:50 am. Trust me, you won't get served!!! Also the store tends to be busy early mornings and Sundays.“
“This place sucks if you want some kinda pompous atmosphere. It’s awesome if you want something different from everything else in Towson. The owner Bailey is old school service industry, and doesn’t cater to elites or rich. All of the bartenders treat you with respect so long as you do. Good specials and solid service. If you want a fancy cocktail go somewhere else. If you want a beer and on honest opinion, this is your spot.“

“If you're looking for a local dive bar where everyone knows your name, Henny Mack's has been a local staple in the Glen Burnie area since 1989.Bonnie and Lin the barmaids are Great!!
The bar itself is nothing but a hole in the wall place they have no drafts but can make a nice Rita the food is pizza, wings, onion rings, mozzarella sticks the basics and they have pool, darts, keno and all the other distractions you'd expect but if you're looking for a place with all the bells and whistles keep going but if you're in the mood for a cold drink in a dark dank place this is it. 😜😁“

“St. Marys used to be my spot to grab Jamaican food back in 2016 and then the quality of the food fell off. Then last year my bestie treated me to oxtails and they were so good, was shocked when she told where she got the plate. Decided to give St Mary a try again, I got the curry goat and bwoy was it goodt! You can tell they got a new chef even by the way the plantains cut up. Big ups to you if you changed the chef. Keep em forever lol“

“Very nice! The steak and cheese sub was one of the best I've ever had! Give it a try - it's not the old Morsbergers - but retains much of the Catonsville charm and ambience. Very well done!“
